Some of you clearly know fuck all about James McCarthy. Pretty much single handedly kept us in the league last year. His touch, awareness, passing ability and engine alone make him worth £2mil. Managing Accies. Splitting the Old Firm is my best achievement so far, Celtic were 8th for most of the season thanks to Javier Clemente! Finished 3rd 3 seasons in a row before that. Piss off, it's not that bad. You sound like a daft little Englander there. Glasgow is a drunken wreck Iain. some areas are awful but the west end is as nice as most uk cities and there is some nice architecture. The architecture is "nice" wherever you go in victorian or edwardian Glasgow. The west end, for me, is no different to Dennistoun or even Rutherglen or Bridgeton with the exception of the quality of the bars, shops or locals. Theres absolutely nothing exceptional about tenement flats in the west end compared to the rest of Glasgow. If you want architecture, stick to the old banks or warehouses of Glasgow, even the old industrial buildings with red brick walls and yellow brick window blocking. Thats architecture.
