  1. And the fat bloaters that eat Micky D's twice a week & frozen chicken nuggets & chips or other shite food the rest of the time don't turn to games consoles? Right obviously they're training to become pro footballers or athletes while working off all the fat their stupid lazy parents throw on the table. :pierre:
  2. Sounds like Utd have sussed out a way to get a transfer kitty together for Levein in January. :pierre:
  3. This is fucking great news! Our Scotland U21 squad could have beaten that Welsh lot. Burley should have seen a P45 way before now.
  4. I'll remain doubtful on this one until someone comes forward with something that makes sense.
  5. - Therefore, lazy journalism anyone? There's nothing lazy about lazy journalism. :pierre:
  6. With several people at the club constantly going on about Murray Park and how the youngsters are the future, I can't see him going in January All we can do is wait & see. He's certainly been in the shop window! :pierre:
  7. So you don't think a bid of £2m - £3m would be accepted? I really think it would be! Nope mate, ill hold my hands up and admit it if i'm proved wrong but it doesn't happen very often It hinges on whether a £2m - £3m bid actually comes in or not, but as others have said here, it probably won't. It's not impossible though!

  9. I honestly think a £3m+ bid would be accepted, maybe even less. I'd be gutted if we sold Wilson for less than £2m. I'm going by the fact the Chairman's stated we more than likely have to bring our own players through, we have done that with Wilson and he seems up to the task, selling him may mean having to splash out money on a replacement, which would defeat the purpose. The chairman has also stated that we don't 'need' to sell any players in January, but that doesn't mean that we 'won't' sell any players does it? I'm not disagreeing with you btw. I just think that if a good bid for Wilson came in it's very possible that it would be accepted.

  11. IMO Walter & his management team had given a list of their transfer targets to Bain & whoever else was dealing with the transfer ins/outs LONG before that CL qualifier. The fact of the matter is that Bain is probably just as much if not more to blame for the transfers (or lack of them) pre-Kaunas. I can't say for sure, but imo it's Bain that was pissing about over a few hundred grands worth of haggling on the Davis deal & while that wasn't the only one he was pissing about haggling over, it was an important deal & all the pissing about over it was a poor show IMO. There was a load of pissing about over Lafferty as well, but imo that's not as relevant to the subject of transfers that might have made the difference in those CL qualifiers. Basically, I'm saying it's probably wrong to point the finger at Walter Smith, when it was actually Bain &/or his assistants that were pissing about, not Walter Smith. I could perhaps go along with that except for the fact we FIRST spent 7m+ on THREE strikers when we already had Novo and Boyd on board. Again mate, it was Bain's fault IMO. Bain had the list of Walter's transfer targets & pissed about on some while for some reason getting the deals done on the strikers. I really DO think it's Bain to blame, not Walter Smith. Walter Smith wasn't the one directly dealing with the acquisitions of the players on his target list, it was our new golden boy Bain. While people were calling for Smith's head back then, I was one of a very small number of people thinking it should have been Bain getting a P45 for making such an immense cock-up of the transfers that summer. I'm not defending Walter btw because I think some of his transfer targets were utter shite, but imo it's still Bain's fault that all those strikers came in while the likes of the Davis deal was still being pissed about with.

  13. We only paid about £700k for Beasley, so he'll be worth next to nothing now anyway. If we could get back what we paid for Lafferty, Miller & McCulloch I'd be a happy man. Spending over £7m on the 3 of them was crazy. They're all pish.
  14. It's a bit of an OTT obsession tbh & it's not just an obsession on RM. Vanguard Bears have published at least 2 articles on him this week that went out on Newsnow - Graham Spiers buggered by Gerry Duffy Spiers - We're laughing at you One of the guys on Gersnet suggested that Britney topics be banned from the forum. Anyway, GIRFUY Britney!!!
  15. So was Alastair Johnston when asked about it - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/8356754.stm (near the end of the audio interview)
  16. In a just world you'd be able to give as good as you get, but this isn't a just world. If you get a beating off cops, stewards etc, it's not within your rights to retaliate. If you do you'll get given even more of a beating & punished for daring to strike back at the aggressor. Simples.
  17. It's a dead cert that he'll pen some shite about us getting let off easily & how disgusted he is with UEFA. :pierre:
  18. It's on the news wires now!! We've been awarded £100,000 prize money & asked if we can finish demolishing the Steaua Stadium the next time we visit.
  19. European matches don't kick off till 20:45... :pierre:
  20. Where is the hearing being held? It's probably 18.25pm over there now!
  21. Me too. That guy your dad was talking to was a rocket.
  22. Decent free kick tbh. He got another assist last week as well IIRC. It's nice to see him doing well down there.
