Jesus wept!! Terry is an absolute scumbag who betrayed his best mate, yet you say he's a bigger man than Bridge. That is simply pathetic. How could he "sort it out like a man"? Give Terry a severe kicking, injuring him in the process? As for being "like a man" Terry is the one who acted in a childish & immature fashion. Bridge has shown some dignity. That does seem to be alien to some though. It's the sort of thing that can be sorted in private. As someone on here has said, the same situation happened in their local Under 17's team and THEY managed to sort it. Smacks of immaturity from all parties, but Terry has already said that he was in the wrong and that he'd want to sort it out with Bridge. Seems to me like Bridge is poofing it, perhaps he realises that he'd need to have more than one 'face to face' with his ex-Chelsea team mates. He went out with a slapper, JT and a few others pumped her. Shit happens, and he should definitely not be giving up his World Cup place for it. Terry has shown a weakness of character in shagging his team-mate's bird, but Bridge has also shown a weakness by not sorting it out and giving up his place at what will be his last chance at a World Cup. Somethings just can't be sorted out though, Terry crossed a line and Bridge IMO is being the bigger man by not causing a rift in the English dressing room. If it was a Under 17's team the two players would be punching fuck out each other, not shaking hands and having a mutual respect over it. Take it if one of you're mates done the same, you would turn the other cheek and not be pissed off about it? One of my mates has done it! We had it out, but worked things out over the space of three or four months and got it sorted. I probably didn't phrase my original post correctly, but I do think that Bridge has jumped the gun. If someone did it to me things could never be sorted out, whether I had it out with him or not, I would never speak to him again & certainly couldn't be around him for 6 weeks as part of a team. TBH I think Bridge is not good enough to be Englands LB, but thats not really the point.
