  1. Apparently the 70k "soccer stadium" is 20 miles from the city and the baseball one is in the centre so it looks like they are chasing the inner city slum support I wonder who that could be ?
  2. Will be there as usual. But agree about Sunday games I usually work on Sunday night meaning can't go to the pub before/after the game spoils the day a little bit
  3. Tell ye what finishing ahead of the bhead rhattlers and ynwa is good enough for me I am so glad they started their campaign now they are the laughing stock with their song plummeting down the charts.
  4. In reply to a previous post about only being in the champions league to make up the numbers a reality check is required here yes that's what we will be doing and have been for a while. we are just not at that level anymore domestic dominance has to be our only realistic ambition with European campaigns bankrolling this
  5. I hope this ain't true anywhere in America but that bhead rhattler infested city
  6. Last I heard on this subject was as Nike are now the major shareholder in umbro they are not happy with the JJB deal restricting them marketing the goods so effectively we are no longer wanted by umbro until this changes as Nike will Market umbro gear worldwide in their superstores I have no idea who will step in hopefully adidas

  8. A lot of players have gave us moments of joy and won us trophies by great goals etc. But for me the club and traditions have to be in their blood

  19. Ok guys I stand corrected here's hoping we don't need to qualify then that final qualifying round could be lethal without seeding look at the scum this year
  20. don't forget mikel Arteta a true class act
  21. A couple of seasons ago platini changed the rules to stop the big countries getting all their clubs straight into the groups that's why 3rd and 4th in england have to qualify albeit only the last round of qualifying regardless of their ranking in Europe this freed up auto qualifying places and Scotland were one of the countries to benifit however as of season after next due to us slipping down the coefficient table Scotland will lose this place and we may only get one team into the qualifiers with the rest going to Europa league hope this clears it up a bit
  22. Maybe I didn't make it clear enough spl winners straight into group stage for next years tournament regardless of who wins it this year
