  1. I don’t get this mate, to me they show what we in this ‘chip on the shoulder’ piss arsed back water don’t ( I’m mean Scotland not GB) they expect to win, they go into it whoever they face expecting to win. Much like England do, and why not? Winning mentality and hunger! The Rangers way. Love they Aussies and the English in equal measure. Best people on earth in my opinion.
  2. No doubt cook has the ability,l. Vaughn said post stumps that he showed a real mental toughness. I totally disagree. I think he showed that he doesn’t have the mental toughness to take on the Aussie bowlers when it really matters. 1 good innings in 7 is no use to England down there. Anyway on the positive side he was a joy to watch the last couple of nights. Looking forward to tonight now.
  3. Lyon has bowled well all series Wully, although the Perth wicket hasn’t been kind to the spinners in terms of wickets taken, his economy is still very good. Can’t see England coming back now unless it’s another rainy day that saves their skins.
  4. I’d never seen this before! WTF!!!! can any of you imagine an opposition manager having a rant like this v the tims in the last 5 years?
  5. As my mate said, it’s Baltic tonight, Collum won’t have fancied waiting for a glazier to turn up.
  6. Pmsl! We should have a thread just called “Wullies Wan Liners!”
  7. It’s coming together nicely for the 6 nations, been building steadily for 3 seasons now. Tell you what though, we’re punching so far above our weight when you consider we’ve only got 2 pro teams. Great result.
  8. Souness was the gaffer then, but you’re right mate and for me that’s one of the things that Walts did well, he got the most out of some very very average guys. Could be due to the quality that they had around them though.
  9. Hate this question.... first one I remember was my brothers first game. 3rd round of the Scottish cup v Hamilton 1987, Fucking unmitigated disaster. Remember the cheers and applause for Chris Woods British shut out record then Big McPherson making a cunt of it and we go down 1-0. Can always remember my wee bro greeting.
  10. You can’t make a silk purse out of a pigs ear or arse in this case. Ibrox is still what is today, because it was built without compromise. Wait to see what the piggery will be like when it’s 40 years old.
  11. Nail on head! You only have to look at the millennium stadium in Cardiff to see what could’ve been. They had the balls to pull down a stadium that was only about 15years old and hemmed in on all sides, to create what I think’s by far the best stadium in Britain.
  12. It really hits home when professional sportsmen around your own age are diagnosed with this shit. A true gentleman of the sport.
  13. Cheers guys got a seat on the bus that’s picks up at the shops at bannockburn. Dunno what the club is though
  14. Just waiting on a contact getting sent to me for the bannockburn bus.
  15. Aye could be mate, easy enough for me to get the train up to dunblane and get the bus from there. I know there’s buses going from Stirling I just don’t know where from. Cheers though
  16. Anyone on here know if there’s any spaces on a bus for tomorrow and where it’s leaving from? Cheers Craig
  17. That’s goal was the start of a big change in our fortunes over the next couple of seasons. Maybe, just maybe it’s about to happen again......
  18. This all day long. What a rollercoaster that season was. The Negri debacle, beating the scum twice in a week, falling at the final hurdle and then the cup final at the piggery. Fucking heart breaking!
  19. His older sister and her husband were my next door neighbours till last summer. He's a Patrick Thistle supporter.
  20. Can't agree with you there and I've said this before. This is taigish behaviour. Not becoming of a Rangers captain. Can you imagine what John Grieg would have thought. Mr Struth would have turned in his grave, but on topic also my favourite player of his era. That clip puts our current team into perprective as well.
  21. Agree with you about his kicking, but his decision making right at the start when he floated the pass to the wing (and NZ intercepted and only didn't score due to a brilliant chase down and tackle) instead of cutting inside for a certain try. The big thing was we didn't do enough against 14 men when Kano was off. Still all things considered not a bad result, with plenty of entertainment.
  22. Could you send me the details too Hamie? Cheers mate.
  23. Ironically, mind when we played in the inaugural Champs League that season, the McEwans logo wasn't allowed?
