  1. What have we to lose? Might as well get the fat coke heid running about a bit for his wages. There’s a chance albeit a wee one, but he might do a job with a bit of link up play.
  2. Not a single cross, final ball, corner or free kick was good enough. The sheep fuckers had one or two and made the most of it. We should still have won today, even though we were shite going forward from midfield.
  3. Loved that strip! Cool as fuck compared to the shite they cunts were wearing.
  4. See there was a wee bit in the Rhebel the other day from Mark Walters saying Rangers we’re still his club. It went in to say he was the victim of horrendous racial abuse from the stands. No mention of which stands in particular though. Seems it’s not on to mention their name in any negative context at all.
  5. Shite news to hear! Stick in Big Fella, No Surrender!
  6. You’re getting the blame for this, you should’ve halved the wee wanker! ?
  7. I agree it’s not Euro pride, but I don’t think it’s much more than panto villain stuff for the crowds.
  8. Nah I don’t buy into that, it all started to go mental in 99 at Brookline. I think the Yanks set a the future tone there. The abuse Monty took and the behaviour of the team when Leonard sank the putt, running over the green when Olazabal still had a putt for a half. I quite like it. The Europeans know what to expect when they’re stateside and vice versa here. It makes winning away much sweeter, bit like pumping the scum at the tattiedome.
  9. We’d get absolutely mullered every other year if it was GB & I in my opinion. I don’t know the numbers but I’d hedge a bet to say the Americans have at least 10 times the number of pro golfers than ??.
  10. Makes me wonder what might have been if we’d just had a go at the tattiedome. SG said tonight, “ we felt we could hurt them” and there’s no doubt they’re a better side than the scum 11.
  11. Got to say guys every year I get less and less interested. Saw you’d started a topic on the race and kind of hoped there was going to be something exciting going on. 61 laps and the only real bit of racing by the top boys was Verstappen holding second from Vettel on the pit exit. All those billions of pounds in development of the cars and making it so slick to watch and ultimately the end product is very very poor, with little or no wheel to wheel racing. MotoGP loyal!
  12. Would’ve kicked the wee cunt up and down the paddock, cheeky wee wanker!
  13. If you’re close enough to put a tackle in then it’s your man!
  14. Fuck that, we lost the game anyway, suppose we only had 60 minutes in us, then go out and win the game in 60 minutes. The way I see it, we gifted them that win today. Put absolutely no pressure on a team and manager that was doubting itself and let them get up off their knees!
  15. We’ve pressed high on ever team we’ve played. Why change it now. Seemed to me SG told them to sit in deep. Can’t work it out at all. Broonaldo got a yellow early on, we should’ve have been taking the game to them, making him have to make tackles.
  16. He is what a Rangers manager should be. Classy, intelligent & respectful.
  17. Haw Sasa get that thread title changed! It’s just “THE” Open Championship. All the rest are mere imposters! ?
  18. A brutal year for road racing, James Cowton killed at the Southern 100 this week as well, they’ll be out again next week though and it’ll be no slower.
  19. You’re probably right about he bikes outgrowing the courses and maybe this is something that’ll be looked at in the future in terms of limiting the power of the machines. I’m not sure it would make a difference though. Lots of accidents happen in the 600 and super twin classes as well as the Superbike.
  20. The NW200 looks brilliant Dylan, I know how much the road racing means to the people of NI, just from speaking to them while I’ve been at the TT. There was a couple of programs on last year about the national racing scene over the water. Hope to get over at some point maybe to the NW200 or the Ulster GP. A few of my mates go every year to the Armoy races and are always well looked after.
  21. I’d guarantee, that anyone with even a slight interest in motorsport would love it. The whole island comes alive, the atmosphere is magic and then that first night you’re sitting on a dry stane dyke and a superbike comes past so close you could reach out and touch it and literally sucks the air out out your lungs. One of the truly breathtaking things in the world and it never gets any less exciting. Fuck knows what it’s like to be riding it!
  22. No worries mate, I just get a bit pissed off, because the only time it makes headlines is when someone is killed, so it’s no surprise people who aren’t particularly into bikes, only see these headlines and draw the obvious conclusion.
  23. It’s is high Jamie, you’ve lived there, what else could be done? I stil stand by it though. It’s a choice the risks are known, Dan Kneen who was killed on Wednesday night last week, his father and brother released a statement saying they wanted it to continue, and wanted his team to continue to compete on his name. That for me is all the justification you need.
