  1. Believe it or not, they used to sell "Personna" Razor Blades outside the ground too...
  2. Bobby Brown will be 90 years old in the New Year. I had a chat with him at a Jubilee Party earlier this year, and he is an absolute top gent. He is a Ranger to the core, and at that time was "extremely saddened by what had happened to OUR Club".
  3. DarcheVinny, just for you LOL ! amo:I love amas: You love amat: He, She, or It loves amamus: We love amatis: You (plural) love amant: They love
  4. Down through the years, we ALL bought into the "forgive & forget, live & let live, turn the other cheek, time to move on, it's not The Rangers way" GUFF !! This football club (Dundee United) was amongst the ringleaders, which sought to destroy our club and put it out of business for good. If by boycotting this Scottish Cup tie, and all other away ties and fixtures against them and their co-conspirators they all struggle to survive, then so be it. The Rangers way should now be, "Cave Adsum" ... Beware, I Am Here !
  5. I would be more than happy to support a boycott of this match. However, I do not see anything other trouble being the outcome should we present a picket line to those wishing to attend the game. I wonder if the club would be willing/able to arrange a beam back to Ibrox for this game, and maybe we could go along and fill it as we do every other Saturday. If the beam back was added to our Season Tickets, then we wouldn't need to split the gate with Dun. Hibs, and a few quid would be taken through the catering outlets, programmes etc., probably enough to cover costs if we turned up in suitably large numbers...just a thought..
  6. Cheers...it reminds me of when I was a boy, and watching my heroes of the early 1960's.
  7. magnifying glass reqd., for the tiny writing...
  8. Ha ha ha...it's ok for you young 'uns to mock the font he uses. For us old codgers, it's GREAT that we don't have to scramble about for our reading glasses !
  9. Looks to me like DJ has been brought back to this show to replace the discredited "Odious Creep"... It is the Radio Cattolica way to try and convince listeners that they present a fair and balanced view...they DON'T...DON'T LISTEN to this drivel !!
  10. ...and another two in his next game V Dundalk in The Fairs Cup. Eight goals in your first three games for The Rangers GUARANTEES immortality !!
  11. Great clip !! I was in the Govan Rear that day, to the right of the guy with the video camera. It was probably our best performance of that season. IIRC we were away at Tyncastle the following week, and got turned over 3-0 by the Hearts (SFL3 feeder club). A bit of a reality check back then...
  12. It seems that Jig, Lee Wallace and Neil Alexander have said that they will stay. If that's the case, then these three can expect to be granted legendary staus for evermore.
  13. Born in Govan...Raised in the South Side...bBeen following The Rangers for 50 years of my 56 years on this planet !! NOTHING & NOBODY can diminish my love for this GREAT institution. The Company may change, but the history and my memories will remain intact. Rangers in LIFE, and Rangers 'til I DIE !!! WATP !!
  14. If we are re-admitted to the SPL, then given that we have already "retired" the number 12 jersey and given it to the fans, we should start a new "singing section" under the banner of "CLUB 12". All members of this new section could wear their new number 12 jerseys either with their own name on the back, or "Club 12". It would represent a new start, but with the history of the number 12 jersey retiral.
  15. Well I'll tell you what Mr Swally, YOU blindly "invest" your cash in a Season Ticket, and YOU blindly "invest " your cash in a spurious Share Issue...and then watch our great club fall once again into administration, whilst Charles Green rides off into the sunset with your (and other gullible fools like you) cash in his back pocket. Jog on, you say ?? Grow up, and smell the shit that's been put under your nose ! Idiot !!
  16. I take your point, but until I know more about his intentions and plans I cannot commit hard cash. We need complete transparency and hopefully honesty this time around. If Dave King is right, and Green is only here for the short haul to line his pockets and ride off into the sunset, then WHERE does that leave Rangers ?...up a very long brown creek with NO paddles, I would suggest.
  17. I do not trust Green one bit. Why can he not name his backers ? Who are they, how much have they got to invest ? He is asking us to invest our money in Season Tickets and a Share Issue without outlining what his plans for the club are, and what level of investment he will be making. Only a fool would "invest" money blindly in a company without some kind of Business Plan being made available for public scrutiny. I sincerely hope I am wrong about this, but Green looks very like another Whyte to me... "Fool me once, shame on YOU. Fool me TWICE, SHAME on ME !!"
  18. I think a rise of 10% across the board would be fair, given that the price has been frozen for the last three seasons. IMHO, a flat rate rise would be unfair as eg., £100 on a £430 season book equates at nearly 25%, whilst only 12% on some others.
  19. Ha ha ha !! Very good...have a rep !
  20. I think that was part of the club's thinking when they came up with the idea Lumsden. As well as getting the fans on side and on the teamsheet every week, it was a HUGE marketing ploy, and NOTHING wrong with that !!
  21. Register with Follow Follow as well mate, it'll give you an option, and covers a lot of the same ground as here. For some reason tho, there are some on BOTH sites that have a mutual distrust. We're ALL Bears as far as I'm concerned. WATP !
  22. ...just a stranger on the bus, tryin' to find his way home...
  23. I have two seats in the Club Deck. My choice would be for Rangers to be allowed to right off the debt owed to me, but for me to be able to retain my option to a Season Ticket for each seat.
