BIG-HEARTED Rangers supporters are set to become Dunfermline fans for the day to help clear up the mess left by the Craig Whyte regime. The Light Blues legions will boost the coffers of the Pars by turning up to watch them play St Mirren at East End Park on March 24. Dunfermline could only pay 60 per cent of player salaries last month as a result of a cashflow crisis caused by Rangers'administration woes. The Ibrox club owe the Fifers £84,000 in ticket money from their recent league clash but the Pars have been forced to join a list of creditors after the SPL champions went under. That situation has been deemed morally unacceptable by some Rangers fans and they now plan to head to Fife, 24 hours before their own club playchampions-elect Celtic at Ibrox. A Facebook page 'Bearsdayout' has been set up and it is hoped up to 2000 fans agree to switch allegiance for the day, earning Dunfermline around £40,000. Organiser Mark Sheppard said: 'Fans would like to do the right thing by Dunfermline, who have shown a lot of dignity by refusing to put the boot into our club. 'I've already contacted chairman John Yorkston, who liked the idea, and it hassnowballed from there.' How amazing is it to see our fans generosity? Over the past few weeks with all the crap flying at us from all quarters we (The Rangers Family) still show what this great club is all about. Dignity. Honour. Respect.
