Raman Bhardwaj @STVRaman STV has learned Alejandro Bedoya is set to follow Matt McKay out of Ibrox. Rangers in advanced discussion with a club over transfer. Amazes me how we paid extra to get him and McKay in early and never used them. Maybe once they've left we'll find out.

Anyone else think he looks a bit like scott brown in the photo above?

I've been trying to cut down on my betting, been waiting 'til the world cup. But I still had a look at the games, and I picked Sweden, Ukraine and Paraguay on Wednesday, and Spain, Mexico and Germany yesterday. Kicking myself for not putting them on. Would have been about £600 up.

Compare these two statements: Born and bred in Scotland but chose to play for ROI through his grandfather. No interest shown in the player by Scotland. Bad history between some of Scotland and Ireland. Born and bred in France but chose to play for Algeria through his grandfather. No interest shown in the player by France. Bad history between some of France and Algeria. James McCarthy and Aiden McGeady both got some stick off of us Rangers fans just because they picked them over us. Shane Duffy's situation is also similar. The argument Daddy Bear is putting forward regarding Bougherra is exactly the same as the tims' when we got stuck into them. I know Madjid's one of our own, but it's still double standards and hypocritical. I don't mean to give him any abuse or that, but we should at least be smart enough to recognize the similarities and leave all the rest for the tims to embarrass themselves with. As a side note, what if Duffy doesn't care about the politics behind football and the two countries and just wanted what was better for his career? With ROI he's got a much better chance of playing in World Cups etc. than with NI. If he truly doesn't care about the history between the countries then it's not going to be any different to him than it would be if his grandparent was Spanish or Brazilian.

What I took from that was that Rangers would give him a week, and, if there still wasn't an offer from Ellis, they would work on a Plan B. That's not to say that after the week they wouldn't jump at an offer, i just don't think they could go much longer without some kind of plan to strengthen the team and sort out contracts etc for next season.

I had a £10 double on Sevilla (11/8) to win Copa Del Rey and Inter (6/5) tonight and a £5 each way double on Chopra (6/1) and Milito (11/2) first scorers. Nice way to end to season. I needed it, the amount of money i've lost the last couple of months.

We were sitting right next to that group. At least 80% of them were aged 10-14, and some looked younger than that. Great atmosphere!

How do you work out a forecast returns? It's worked out similarly to the tote dividends. No idea how to do it manually though.

I always wonder why more younger guys who aren't getting a game or sitting in the reserves in the Premiership don't want to come here, even if it is just on a short term loan deal. Look at players like Boughera or Cuellar, who were/are very average down south, yet they excel in the SPL. If I was sitting on the bench for one of the lower/mid-table clubs, I'd be looking at coming up here for 6 months or so, get noticed, get a bit of experience, be playing regular football, and being one of the best players in our league. Not to mention winning trophies and medals, and guaranteed European football.

Anyone know where Velicka is? Have we even still got him? He scored a few important goals for us at the end of last season when we had similar problems with injuries and players unavailable.
