  1. "That means it goes up and down, day by the day according to our requirements. Our only obligation is to reduce that line of credit by pound(s)1m a year. There is not a whole lot of incentive, in all honesty, to reduce the debt." - Alistair Johnston (17th Feb 2010) "There is no schedule to bring the debt down by a million a year. The bank wants its money back and has simply set us parameters which, although tight, have not handcuffed us." - Martin Bain (22nd July 2010) So the agreed debt re-payment schedule we were told of before was just a complete fabrication then?
  2. Finally we have managed to get at least half decent money for him. I just hope the add-ons are achievable and Bain has not "negotiated" something ridiculous like 150 first team games over his 3 year contract. If he stayed on, it would have rotted my insides knowing he could have swanned off for a nominal fee at the end of the next season... Goodbye Danny and good riddance
  3. Towards the end of last season we heard from Walt that the squad is thin and need to get in more players in over the summer; so instead at least 6 go and (potentially) 3 to come in... if the squad was thin last year it will be anorexic next season!! The one good thing is at at least some of the younger lads may get a chance to shine...
  4. Trying not to be pessimistic but get the sinking feeling we will not be up to much this summer. Starting to think we may only end up with a couple of crappy players on loan to bolster the squad... Hope I'm wrong and Walt can still pull a couple of rabbits out the hat, despite our limited budget. If not it may be disasterous next summer when Champions league qualification will be tough, numerous players out of contract and an inexperienced manager taking over...
  5. 2 million is an absolute disgrace, whoever accepted such a derisory offer (particularly from the likes of Chesney!!) should be hung at dawn for this act of treason. What bets KT will play one good season in the championship and suddenly his value will be 6-7 million or similar à la Charlie Adam - what a fucking joke!!
  6. No Deal Chesney!! Lee Miller is not and never will be good enough for Rangers, you've got Boyd so fuck off and never darken our door again!
  7. SDM stating the club has been taken off the market has been done purely to limit the ridiculous doomsday reporting of the clubs plight in the mhedia and to provide some kind of stability for the coming season. This does not however really change a thing, everybody from here to Timbuktu knows the club is still up for grabs and that Murray would sell out in a heartbeat if he gets a halfway decent proposition
  8. I find this situation particularly galling, an 18 year old lad breaks in the Rangers team... 20 or so games later, refuses to sign a new contract as has decided he is destined for greater things. Well, quite frankly he can GTF... no man (boy even) is greater than the club and if he doesn't want to play or isn't committed to Rangers then he doesn't deserve to wear the jersey again!! If he does leave for Liverpool or wherever this season, then I'll take great delight reminding him all about it when he skulks back into Ibrox playing for Hibs, Dundee United, Kilmarnock... or whoever in 3-4 years time
  9. It's neither here nor there where Boyd goes, he did well for Rangers but he is off chasing the kind of cash we are in no position offer. I'm more concerned about getting rid of that little toe rhag Wilson, he is not fit to wear the Rangers jersey again!!
  10. An absolute disgrace of a statement...wait till the last minute to sook up the dregs of the barrel.. Bain, get it sorted!!
  11. 4 million is not worth entertaining... especially before the world cup where if he does well (against England particularly) his value will rocket, should at least be 6 to 7 minimum... and they can shove the "money spinning" friendly where the sun don't shine !!
  12. Am getting all nostalgic looking at those pics..
  13. On a side note, I a picture in the paper of him going into court .. he needs to do something about that fake tan he's been slapping on! he has an absolutely shocking "fake" tan line between his face and the receding bits on his hair!!
  14. Tradition just everything you said Tradition, honour and superiority... these are the foundations that make our club great
  15. Sounds a lot more positive with regards to relationship with Lloyds, I wonder who exactly in Murray group was dealing with them, Murray himself or one of his delegated stooges? Anyway, I had deja vu reading the last paragraph
  16. cracking pic Would never grow tired at looking at the pain on their mhanky faces.. particularly the guy in the bottom right giving the fist pump
