In 1999, when The Rangers won the title 0-3 at the piggery; the Mhanks were even more deranged than normal and just couldn't take it: pelting everything they had in their filthy pockets at Hugh Dallas' head, fans falling of the one tier of stand to the next, 3 players sent off (2x Dhims)and then the champions copying their huddle celebrating at full time to boot - enraging the great unwashed further almost to a state of apoplexy... All in all, one of the greatest days I can ever remember!!!

I don't mind if we go back to the "Waltenaccio" tactics this year, at that level we need to play to our strengths and look to keep it tight and hit on the counter. If we try and control the game against the top tier teams in Europe then we will be asking for a humping. In the Manchester year we were playing McCulloch and Davis as wingers, and great though Davis is neither is blessed with any real threatening pace (particularly Big Lee!!). This year however, I would play Weiss on the left and Miller on the right and if eligible then jelavic up front, having pace on the flanks would give us a much greater threat going forward... particularly away from home where we will likely find wider pitches than Ibrox is currently set at. Fuck...getting excited about Europe already.. Come on The Rangers!!!
