  1. Well that's Andy got 100% so far must be doing something right
  2. 500k a year should give him plenty of confidence, the lads a muppet and shouldn't be anywhere near that starting bench. We've all seen enough in the last year and I'd rather see Fleck or Ness get a real chance in that wide position. Even Mcculloch is more adaptable than him so it's not the coaching that's the problem, iys the idiot with that bloody stupid haircut.
  3. Hope not, the guy might be talented but let's face it, the good lord didn't bless him with a lot upstairs.
  4. we all know what happened last time Broaders was in the middle for the old firm so yeah, Bougherra and Wilson, but Bougherra won't be there, so if David Weir gets back from collecting his pension in time would have to be him. Personally I'd stick Sasha (instead of Davie) in the middle and gamble with Smith at LB.
  5. saw him against DU good positioning and passing but very very slow. Agree with everyone else, RB slot should now be without question, Whittaker has been simply awful. Defensively would like to see him at the piggery so long as he's not in the middle.
  6. soz shouldve stuck it on right section just habit putting on here.
  7. With james mcfadden saying he'd like to see ferguson back for scotland I was wondering what fellow bears thought about it. Would you mind seeing him back in the team? Do you think he needs the bullshit? Do you even care? personally my answer is no, no and meh. Like I said this is purely to gauge the opinions of the online support.
  8. it'll be a nice day indeed when the internet completely puts toilet paper like the sun and NOTW out of circulation. Saw that bloke on NOTW, thought he was a wanker before and now he's a piss artist wanker.
  9. never realy rated him but i think he's founed his level with the SPL and the team as it is. i'd argue the only true rangers man in that team is kris boyd, when it came to the crunch we saw what he's made of (hope I don't eat my words in a few weeks though), but every other man in that team is a mercenary (except maybe Novo).
  10. win next 3 games, win the league. since the pissodrie debacle they've played better and better. hearts were well fuckin jammy though.
  11. aye well said, Whittaker doesn't deserve the flak and needed dropping desperately, but remember Broadfoots not that good. Can stop cross balls but has the turning circle of a tractor and the acceleration of one to boot.
  12. Was in R, guys just in front of me were singing nonstop was great.
  13. Was in the shed as well, great to hear TBB getting belted out, stewards weren't too bad at the back. Home support was a bit pishy, its the same with all home supports, soon as they go ahead everythings rosy.
  14. Not sure if there's another thread on this but was at the game last night and the fans were immense, loads of folk still came along so seems like that boycott business didn't really pan out. on another note what really pisses me off is we have to hear every little detail about how some diddy club put out a shitier team than their normal shitey team and all we get is 30 seconds. Just fancied a wee moan there, but delighted at last nights performance etc. 'That's why we're champions.'
  15. If that mob played with the same effort and skill against teams like Queen of the South as they do against us then they'd be league contenders. Pathetic team, pathetic fans. It would be great for the Scottish game to see them really making the challenge they're capable of.
  16. Bougherra adds much needed width and would be a much better RB than Whittaker. Davis was pretty good and Thommo was the only guy really chasing up the Falkirk defenders forcing them to punt it. Boyd is now capable of the lone role as his link up play was good, even if his only decent pass is one to the right flank. The bulk of the performance was awful as guys like Mcculloch and Whittaker are wastes of a shirt imo and the less Miller tries to score the better. Wilson needed a rest, but overall great result, Beasly and Novo did pretty well and provided good width and general play.
  17. take it with a pinch of salt, if injury free should be a good first team/ well used back up choice.
  18. Of course Giggs and Best are world class, Tomlin I'm sure you have a point but you're making an absolute arse of yourself trying to make it. But Bougherra is a better footballer than Whittaker, especially now as he is more confident of himself and is a much better defender so will stop more crosses, which Whittaker isn't doing. Going forward they are as good/bad as each other, capable of brilliance but most of the time pretty fucking terrible, can't pass, can't cross. So I'd have the better defender there and we all know who's more suited to that role.
  19. I was giong to make a big long post but delparlane has just beat me to it. However, I am somewhat less critical of W.S because the players just don't have the fight a man in blue should have. Only two players even acknowledged the fans at pittodrie last week and that is indicative of the real lack of passion for Rangers this crop seems to have.
  20. I think with the shrinking pool Murray Park has the advantage because a lot of kids are obviously from the central belt and they all will know Murray Park is the prime youth development football program in Scotland. Like you guys have said, the article headline isn't as negative as the actual piece is, this is cause for optimism for us. WATP
  21. I think a lot of people are kind of missing the point. I want England to lose because i can't stomach their media going on about how brilliant they are. That's it, I like England, I've lived there, will live there, like the people despite their very forthright arrogance and indifference towards the other home nations. I like the players on their team, I even like the attitude a lot of their fans have, but the fact of the matter is, I hate going on to the BBC website, or the Sky Sports News channel, the Mirror, or anything else to do with UK media, and hearing about how glorious their country is despite the fact that everyone knows that ball didn't even cross the fucking line (i.e they are not good enough). Politically I am aligned with the United Kingdom, I love being British and the identity that it brings, but my point is that the English do think they are fucking fantastic and it drives me mad. From a football perspective they purely do not have the squad to win it. I can expand on this point if anyone wants but someone else will beat me to it anyway. By the way, we would be just as bad if we were in their boat it would only be natural to think we have a good given right to win everything (and based on Rangers that's as good an argument as anyone can come up with).
  22. Does anyone else think the guy might make a pretty good manager one day? He reads the game better than anyone in our division and can still cope at european/international level. However Richard Gough was a far better defender and he hasn't had much luck in management, and at this point in time their careers have been equally as long at a similar level. Thoughts?
  23. Everyone here's spot on imo, good potential, but is a striker, a good striker doesn't make a good winger, they're completely different roles, as well as putting him in central midfield, smith thinks the boy has a bit of quality so can do a job over thomson. his progress is being stunted and the boy needs goals and confidence, but I do think he's got what it takes to be a good striker.
  24. loved the lee mcculloch school of excellence. How about the Tesco Loyal Park, get a sponsorship deal and everything?
  25. you know your right back is pretty pish when the thought of Broadfoot replacing him is not a bad idea. Wilson is also partly to blame because Lee Miller is a pathetic excuse for a striker. Put Bougherra there or give one of the kids a chance. Maybe the guy just needs a break, or an enormous boot up the arse
