Cant remember who we were playing but my dad took me to my first rangers game when i was three years old (quality bit of parenting if you ask me). We sat near the top of the main stand,and only being a nipper, i was fucking shitting myself and then wept for my mum for the whole first half. When half time came my fathers only option was to run with me under his arm all the way back to the house(stayed in whitefield rd. at the time) then run for the second half.

i dont think there is a "right time" to lose a player of fergusons quality.

i think that the next 5 weeks or so will make or brake the big fella. Hope he has it in him to prove all his doubters wrong but im afraid that he just aint got what it takes. The for lafferty argument is always "hes played out of position". But we bought him fronm burnley after seeing him play out wide week in week out for them(fairly unconvincingly), and although his best position is apparently up front he had onley played there for n.ireland a few times. I feel that it was an error of judgement on the gaffers behalf paying so mutch for a totally unproven striker who had only scored 13 goals in two and a half years of first team football. Think that this one will have to go down as another expensive flop if he fails to cut the mustard in the next few weeks.
