He's overrated imo mate, no offence but its a big step down as well. He'll maybe score some goals, but he has took the easy option as he knows he isn't premiership quality, thats why walter hardly played him in the big matches. I can't see a reason why not. In our current squad we are lucky to have at least 5 players that could be contenders for the captaincy McCulloch, Davis, Thompson, Miller and Mcgregor.....but i'd give it to either Thompson, Davis or McCulloch, lead from the middle is best imo.
