  1. Wtf is Jobbie Savage wittering on about, so obvious these people have never actually seen Rangers playing.
  2. Thats exactly what I was thinking tbh, because I can't see any other reason they would 'announce' this officially right now and not link it to a take over rumour, either saying everything is in place and it's been agreed with the new owners or its the same old codger in charge and we're going with Ally. Also cant see that its being used to boost squad morale or anything, because everyone knew it was happening anyway.
  3. But why choose that particular 'close pal' at that particular point? What the fuck has Tommy Burns got to do with it, when there are other Rangers legends he could easily have mentioned. Personally I dont give a crap about Tommy f'ing Burns or any other dead smelly taig and neither should the next manager of Rangers at the press conference to introduce him as such.
  4. Are McMillan and Stirling not something like 22 or 23? Thats hardly a youth player ffs and I don't think the latter has been anywhere near the first team. Rather than loan them out, more like move them on and give someone else a chance, if they're not good enough by 23 they're not good enough.
  5. Tommy Burns could have been his live in boyfriend for all I care, but when the next Rangers manager is being presented to the media I for one certainly don't want to hear him rabbit on about some dead fenian scum. If that makes me a bad person, then so be it. If he wants to have a Celtc love in, he can do it on his own time. I half expect he was just saying that so he came across as being 'fair minded' or some such crap.
  6. Considering your constant harping on about how threadbare your squad has been over the past three seasons and the lack of finances, why the hell haven't you tried to give the youth players a chance? If they aren't good enough, why are they here and if you want experience, uhm well there's only one way to gain experience isn't there.
  7. He is right, its all in our own hands. All we have to do is win 14 league matches and we're Champions, no if's no but's.
  8. All we can do is get behind him and hope he succeeds, there is really no reason why he can't.
  9. I worried about that as well but I dunno, McCoist's personality has always been a lot more 'bubbly' than Smiths and that with any luck will affect the way he wants his teams to play. I really hope so anyway.
  10. I'm sure Davie Weir said when the time came, he would know when to chuck it. Well Davie, the time has come, why are you still playing? Kidding yourself much yeah? And the truth is, playing Bartley beside Bougherra might be a risk but continue to play Weir is an ever bigger one. Bartley can and will learn, Weir can do nothing about his declining body. We have fourteen games left, win them all we are Champions but for that to happen changes are needed and tough as it might be for him, Weir is the first change that needs made.
  11. Its the players and management that need to get a grip.
  12. They were all shit and gutless. Bartley gets a point for his tackle on Brown but he should have broken the cunts legs.
  13. Some people on here have never lived through times like those, and for their sake I hope they never have to.
  14. Walter should have the balls to resign and so should Davie Weir, there's no shame in admitting you're past it, I'm 47 and I'm past it, I'm happy to admit that and so should they. Sitting in the stand, arms folded when your team is getting gubbed by a shower of nazi loving paedophiles who manager is a bigoted mhanky cunt simply isn't good enough. As much as I hate Lemon and hope it dies a slow and very painful death, at least it shows some passion and that comes through in it's team. We have no passion from the manager sleeping in the stands and the players are cowards who don't want to get their tops dirty. And looking at McCoist, standing with his arms folded, I don't have any great hopes he would do any better. We need a clear out and we need it now, and we all know thats never going to happen in a million years.
  15. Exactly right, if you can't outplay the bastards, at least show some committment to the cause, get stuck in and break a few of the cunts, lets see you actually care enough to fight for us, literally.
  16. Goodbye Walter, thanks for all the trophies, thanks for nine a in a row and the UEFA Cup Final, thanks for 1993 and all that so nearly could have been but it's over, it's time go.
  17. Miracles can happen. They really can. And we bloody need one right now.
  18. He'll come on happily telling us how this was just a blip, we're all deluded and we actually won the game and Davie Weir is the greatest centre half since Beckenbauer.
  19. Same. Walter Smith will always, always be a legend to me, but so was John Grieg, I still wanted him gone. And I'll admit it, when he was sacked, I cried but he needed to go and Walter needs to go, and he needs to go now.
  20. I'm not panicking, I'm fucking fuming. I've seen some pretty dire performances from Rangers over the years in Old Firm games but this is just pathetic. And thing is, all of us, if we were being totally honest saw this coming.. everyone but the management team at Ibrox.
  21. If Weir was being anywhere near honest with himself he wouldn't need to be dropped, he'd retire right now, never mind wait till the end of the match. Any manager who wasn't sitting sleeping in the stand would have hauled his arse off the pitch 30 minutes ago.
  22. Fucking disgrace this team are a joke. Two things should happen... Walter Smith should go NOW fuck waiting till the end of the season he's lost it completely as he sits sleeping in the stands, and Davie Weir should never play for Rangers again. It's time Davie, you're past it, have the balls and be a man enough to accept it.
  23. It is baffling to say the least, even trying out Fleck or Naismith or Healy up front, changing the holding midfielder, but at 1-0 he just thought fine we'll hang on and hold this and you're just asking for trouble doing that. Walter has always been a fairly defensive minded, sort of dull grampa type person but some of the comments hes making nowadays does actually have me wondering if he's going senile. I also wonder, sitting way up there in the stand he doesnt really contribute much anymore from the sidelines and he looks bored half the time they show him.
  24. If we attack on Sunday, we will win, that is both the way to play against the tims and to me the only way our team can play, because we sure as hell can't sit in and defend. If we defend and invite them onto us we'll get hammered because that is the way Lemons team play and we simply can't allow them to do that and make them look better than they are yet again. Who knows though, Walter might surprise us all and go 3-2-5
