  1. We should tie thjem all up on long term contracts, just in case they happen to be good. So we can command a decent fee and not be left with another Wilson scenario. Although we are hanging on for a good fee, there is a risk of losing him for nothing in 7 months time. But if we have the ones coming through on long term cheap deals that wont happen
  2. It isn't about taking something away from one and not the other. It would make more sense if they banned our singing altogether and didn;t ban the vuvuzela. That is the comparison. The vuvuzela is seen as a whole concept of their tradition. The Billy Boys is seen as one part of ours, i.e singing. They are allowing the vuvuzela as part of the RSA tradition, just as they let us sing at our games, part of our tradition. Albeit minus one song.
  3. We are very short on players at the moment and we are not going to spend money on a player to replace Papac, signing Goncalves on a free would make a lot of sense. why would we not spend money to replace sasa? he could even be replaced by another bosman if we had the ambition to go for one good enough i agree jose would be a decent signing, maybe even better than papac, more reliable than webster perhaps and maybe even faster and stronger than weir, who knows i just got sick of us in the past signing players we knew would not make a difference to the first team, i do know Goncalves is wanting a 5 figure wage, its quite alot to have him on the bench every week, if hes only signed for cover just have to leave it with Walter, see what happens How about £129.99
  4. It may well have been the home game mate. And now thinking of it more I am thinking it was the home game.
  5. I remember my mate going in every ten minutes to get a score update. I know it wasn't live. Up here at least. I can't speak for England though. Sorry steely either you were very young or someone was taking the pish out of you at the time and told you it wasn`t on telly. IT WAS ON THE TELLY ! only thing is we got fuck all tickets . Maybe someone can remember but wasn`t both legs for home supports only to stop any trouble. I remember the game like yesterday . I was running a bit late to watch the game in the pub and I jumped on my bed when Hately scored and broke my bed . Ran across to the pub and watched the rest there and got pished . Great night . I never said it wasn't on the tele. Just that it wasn't live. The game was shown in its entirety, just later in the same night. What I may be mistaken about is whether it was the home or away leg. But one of them wasn't live.

  7. You're righit it wasn't live. They showed the match in its entirety later in the same day but initially it wasn't live
  8. We would be selling both for a profit. It isn't an issue of money being more important than quality. It is an issue of selling at a profit to make more money to buy more quality.
  9. Rangers boss Walter Smith to show contract rebel Madjid Bougherra the door - as he battles to keep Danny Wilson and Kevin Thomson May 27 2010 Exclusive by Keith Jackson Walter Smith Image 2 Walter Smith laid out his new blueprint for Rangers yesterday as the futures of Kevin Thomson, Danny Wilson and Madjid Bougherra were thrashed out. Record Sport can reveal Smith only signed his new one-year deal after lengthy talks with chief executive Martin Bain that focused on his plans for the three players. And yesterday - just hours after it was announced that Smith will be staying on for one more year - his plans were getting into full swing as Bain: Booted out Boro's bid for Thomson and prepared to offer the 25-year-old a new long-term Ibrox deal. Ordered Liverpool to double their bid for Wilson. Sanctioned the sale of Bougherra after the wantaway Algerian turned down a new four-year contract. The whirlwind boardroom business kicked off at breakfast time when Bain phoned Boro chief executive Keith Lamb to tell him that Thomson is NOT for sale. Instead, the Ibrox club's bankers have agreed to fund an immediate wage rise for Smith's midfield linchpin. Bain now plans to begin urgent negot iat ions with Thomson to get the player, who is entering the final year of his current deal, tied up. However, there will be NO new talks with Wilson who has turned down the offer of an extended contract. But Liverpool have been told they won't land the defender on the cheap. It was expected that Rangers would accept a fee of around £3million for the 18-year-old after turning down a £2m bid at the end of the season. But, in fact, Record Sport can reveal that in the last few days Bain officially knocked back a second and improved Anfield offer for the player. He has now made it clear Rangers will not be tempted into doing business until at least £5m is on the table. But Rangers are resigned to selling Bougherra following his decision not to accept a two-year extension to his existing two-year contract. The club now believe the Algerian has set his heart on a big-money move and will not stand in his way if the price is right. A senior source at the club told Record Sport last night: "It's been a hectic start to Walter's final year but now the management have been fixed up on new deals, there is a determination to get these other issues sorted out as quickly as possible."

Look at that mate. Hope it helps
  11. You do understand that the World Cup is quite some time after our league has finished? In what can only be described as 'normal', he'll probably have recovered from his injury. Yea what I am saying is, he should have been getting fit for ranger first not the world cup this is why I would sell him n I think smith will played less games than Danny Wilson not good enough. But he doesn't have any Rangers games to get fit for. All he's got to get fit for is the World Cup. Iment for the celtic, utd, and motherwell games But he never bothered his arse You sound like a child. How do you know he never tried. Did you go to training and see what he was doing?? Did you follow his movements?? Or are you just crying in your soup because you see is now trying to get for for the WC?? The only things left for him to get fit for.
  12. The fact He is not fit to play for us, But he is fit enough to flyout to a trying camp for the wc with his country, its a joke rangers pay his wage. sick of it Flying out to a training camp isn't playing football. You don;t have to be a peak fitness to fly.
  13. Not crazy enough to say you have a question and make a statement instead
  14. I used to watch him when he played for Watford. I liked the look of him TBH.
  15. That's why Alexander isn;t 1st choice. What a mistake
  16. This coming for the end of April. Why are we getting the March info now??
  17. Why not just take the daily paper there and pretend to read it since the game doesn't matter
  18. We can't field an understrength team. If the SFA think we are doing that, we will get fined. There has to be so many 1st team players in the squad to make it a competition.
  19. sum1 on my bus said it 1st home game but a dnt no I think it is the last home game of the season we would get it......if we win it
  20. Don't you think practically anyone who is scottish is shite??
