I think if we bought goodie, cuellar, verhoek and a solid midfielder that doesnt take any shite then we are sorted. signing ortiz and bedoya has just sickened me. waste of money.

As much as I love the guy, im sick of praising him. he shouldnt have to be called upon as much as he is. hes a fantastic keeper/player and i have no idea how we have managed to convince him to stay when he is surrounded by absolute shite. its time we made some decent signings instead of average squad players. I think it was evident we needed him tonight and in the hearts game. He can cause problems and do the simple things well. This is the time to put in a SERIOUS bid and buy the players we NEED!!! None of this ortiz/murray davidson pish!!!

they were all absolute shite! nobody stood out at all!! mcgregor did what he had to do and more as usual. he shouldnt be forced to come out so often. the whole performance + the performance in the hearts game was absolute gash! they should be ashamed!

I think we ideally want someone of davis' quality in CM with him but with a little more physical presence. just not sure who would be affordable and would be suitable. there must be someone.

Unforgivable in my opinion. The bbc was out of order and deserves to be punished by being banned from the only team in scottish football that anyone really cares about.

I appologise then. I was just angry because I didnt hear anything about this and read the paper everyday. at the time, all i heard was that a hearts fan had been arrested. didnt seem to notice any articles or national television news about the incident being anything about celtic fans singing IRA chants. I can only appologise. I must have been totally ignorant to all this.

Going to have to agree to disagree because I believe it is double standards. I never said that the same organisation that issued our ban (UEFA) should ban C*ltic (obviously because they can't). I was saying it is double standards in the way that we were treated domestically after our ban was issued. Every journalist was listening out to hear if they could hear a shadow of the billy boys, etc at our games while this incident (and im sure many more) passed them by. I believe that is double standards - the fact that we had to be on our best behaviour while they suited themselves. That is double standards, not by UEFA, but mainly by the media. What would have happend if we sang out the billy boys at the time? Looking at the sway in media attention, i think it would be fair to say that we would have been punished and not C*ltic. - Double Standards. Its fair enough to have the view that we should focus on eradicating our own problems before we look at theirs but I disagree. I think that we should be able to say that what they are doing is wrong and should be pulled up for it as we are doing our utmost to prevent any sectarianism at our matches.

I didnt say that UEFA should ban Celtic. I was saying that it was double standards because we were having to watch what we were singing at the end of last season as a result of our ban (even in SPL games) and they were just chanting quite clearly sectarian chants. Also if your saying that the SPL are on record saying "they will not punish either club coz they feel the clubs are working hard to eradicate these problems" then why were we having to be so careful in the games (as part of the SPL) after the date of our ban and they were getting away with this!? THIS IS DOUBLE STANDARDS!? Did this get media attention? HARDLY!!!

After a night on youtube watching pieces of last season, I had a look at a video of the 'melee' between hearts and c*ltic. I was shocked at how obvious their sectarian chants were and how I heard nothing about them. I did not watch the game live, at the time I only saw the news/read the papers to see that a hearts fan had attacked that ginger ringpiece. This game happend on the 12th May 2011 and our ban was active from the 28th April 2011. This is a time when we were having to watch what we were singing at games home and away. i reckon he could benefit with a loan move. we arent really in the position to do that but if we were i think that would be the best thing for him. needs to be playing more often to be competing agianst the likes of naismith etc. i think he is defo 1 for the future.

i agree that we should defo bid low to get the best deal but at the same time, i agree that we are bidding too low for players. wallace and goodwillie come straight to mind. i reckon we will get decent players in before the window shuts and i think that whyte, smith, and coisty have the right idea. i can understand fans being frustrated with low bids though. maybe more of an effort could be made to make the bids more private.
