  1. I didn't read that as being a smartass comment. Think you're seeing something that isn't there.
  2. Apparently so. Contract expires June 2013. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/chris-brunt/profil/spieler_36814.html
  3. If Championship players are out of reach, how about some window shopping for out of contract Premiership players? Andrey Arshavin (Arsenal) Lukasz Fabianski (Arsenal) Sébastien Squillaci (Arsenal) Richard Dunne (Aston Villa) Eric Lichaj (Aston Villa) Yossi Benayoun (Chelsea) Paulo Ferreira (Chelsea) Frank Lampard (Chelsea) Florent Malouda (Chelsea) Ross Turnbull (Chelsea) Ján Mucha (Everton) Thomas Hitzlsperger (Everton) Chris Baird (Fulham) Simon Davies (Fulham) Mahamadou Diarra (Fulham) Mladen Petric (Fulham) Kolo Toure (Manchester City) Richard Wright (Manchester City) Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United) Danny Simpson (Newcastle United) Steve Harper (Newcastle United) Simeon Jackson (Norwich City) Clint Hill (Queens Park Rangers) Simon Church (Reading) Alex Pearce (Reading) Noel Hunt (Reading) Artur Boruc (Southampton) Richard Chaplow (Southampton) Frazer Richardson (Southampton) Ryan Shotton (Stoke City) Jermaine Pennant (Stoke City) Dean Whitehead (Stoke City) Matthew Kilgallon (Sunderland) Titus Bramble (Sunderland) William Gallas (Tottenham Hotspur) Chris Brunt (West Bromwich Albion) Marc-Antoine Fortuné (West Bromwich Albion) Steven Reid (West Bromwich Albion) Carlton Cole (West Ham United) Jussi Jääskeläinen (West Ham United) Gary O’Neil (West Ham United) Antolín Alcaraz (Wigan Atheltic) Ronnie Stam (Wigan Atheltic) Maynor Figueroa (Wigan Atheltic)
  4. Has that boy shot himself in the face in despair at how bad the new top is?
  5. I agree that social media has played a huge part in the mess we've ended up in. There was always going to be a huge interest in any scandal concerning Rangers but the platform for so many of our enemies that social media provided made it easy to spread their agendas.
  6. There's still time...sign him up!
  7. Ronald de Boer said that Namouchi was one of the best young players he'd ever seen and tipped him to be a superstar.
  8. Would be a great trip. Newcastle's my favourite English city for a night out, had my own 21st birthday there and my Stag do. Would be awesome to combine a top night out with a trip to see Rangers.
  9. He probably realises how fickle the fans can be and is cashing in now on his current popularity. A season of bad performances could easily see him drop his current hero status. And to prove the point... That's how quickly it can happen.
  10. I'm not contesting either of these points. Is McCoist being accused of not having the club's best interests at heart simply because he hasn't had the team playing well? And is Green beyond reproach because he did a good job for us?
  11. I'm truly saddened to read the kicking that McCoist is taking on here. Whilst I fully understand that the majority of fans are willing to to believe that Charles Green is innocent until proven guilty, I can't for the life of me understand why a neutral viewpoint isn't maintained until we find out more details. From what I read, the majority can see no fault in Charles Green and are happy to slate the manager and blame him for all that is wrong with our club. McCoist (whilst not having a great time with the team on the park) has proven that he cares about the welfare of the club and is a true Rangers man. Why then does he take a blootering whilst Green, who confessed from the beginning that he was here for the money, is held in higher regard? I've never been a Green hater and I truly appreciate a lot of what he has done to get us in the position that we're in but he has not earned the right not to be doubted or questioned.
  12. Nope, just stating my opinion. Like everybody else in a forum does.
  13. Surely though, to be singing from the same song sheet, Ally would require to have been informed about the situation beforehand? It was because he was kept in the dark that he was forced to come out and say he knew nothing about it.
  14. I'm flabbergasted that Ally seems to be taking a bit of abuse for having the temerity to speak out without consulting Green first. Given what he has led us through, I think he more than deserves the opportunity to voice concerns, especially when it could have been avoided if Green had simply mentioned that he had pulled a fast one with Whyte. It is entirely conceivable that Whyte would make an issue of this sooner or later, so what would the harm have been in Green talking to McCoist beforehand? I am in no way condemning what Green did (I think it's great that Whyte was fucked over) but it could have been handled better by Green by keeping the manager informed.
  15. We could do with some more actually, but we've signed more players of a decent quality than I thought we would already.
  16. I think so. The same as I imagined us signing Dean Shiels.
  17. Really? I can't see an option for that.
  18. No worries, hopefully be a good game!
  19. There's normally a cut-off time where it becomes permit holders only but I'm not aware of being able to pre-book places. You can pay when you arrive. Think the cut off time is normally about 30 mins prior to kick off or thereabouts
  20. On the 1st team section of the website it includes Ian Black and Dean Shiels but still shows the traitors! You'd think these would be deleted when they updated the new signings. Maybe they're still there since Charlie reckons they're technically still ours until their situations have been resolved.
  21. Aye - unless he's just signed for Rangers, it shouldnae be in the Bears Den.
