What if he plays youngsters and we start playing with style and controlling games ? What if he unearths another Danny Wilson and we get a few quid although he normally has to get thrust into a dire emergency for that to happen. What if he loses a few games, is he going to get the sack,he's pissing off in 6 months anyway.

Whilst I agree with sections of your post how can you possibly state that its not Walter Smiths job to develop yougsters. That should be part of his job at all times and even more so in the current financial climate.

He's scared or too set in his ways or maybe they aren't good enough and who's fault would that be ? Personally I would go for the latter cos as the old saying goes if your good enough your old enough.
