    Re Shankland vs Dessers.

We will be playing potentially in the CL next season or at least the EL. Given that he misses more often than he scores, we cannot trust him at that level, with Shankland we can, just as Shankland has to start in the Euros over Dykes or Adams.

In either case, we  will get a small handful of chances, meybe even just 1 or 2with Scotland ,probably 3/4 in the cl with us, and you need someone who can take them and I do not trust Dessers to take those. Either Shankland or a gem picked up by scouting Europe. Dessers at best next season is a 3rd striker with Roofes leaving.

We can't afford to be paying him what we are for him to be 3rd choice.

He either has to be at worst 2nd choice or moved on. With Danilos situation and hopefully the signing of another 1st choice CF I'm praying we sell him.

    He's shite.

Of course it ain't happening lol 😆 but in a perfect world etc etc

It just you an indication of the current distain I have for this squad that I wouldn't be sad to see 20 of them out the door

I wouldn't be bothered if any of the current squad were to leave this summer as long as we were compensated adequately.

I'd be ok with Butland and Sterling staying.

I think it’s a different story if you have a fit Sima, Cortes and Danilo.

Your subs are then likely Dessers, Silva and Matondo instead of the likes of utter dog shit like Wright and McCausland.

I think story of the season is a real lack of quality in the final 3rd, Dessers and Sima aside, the contributions off Cantwell and the others mentioned above are so poor.

Not classing Matondo in the utter dog shit category is fucking mental.

Gerrard was given a third season and won it. He'd not have got a 4th season. Nor should Clement or anyone else.

We need to stick with a manager who can do it but maybe takes a bit longer than we all want. But the genuine and justified belief does have to be there.

If the season hadn't been curtailed due to Covid there's a high chance Gerrard would have been sacked.

We were on a downward spiral and the anger and vitriol being aimed Gerrards way would have been extremely difficult to reverse if our form had continued.

Tough crowd. Thought he had one of his best games for us.

He did. But that's not saying much tbh and that's the problem. For the money we're paying he has to be a standout on a consistent basis and up to now he absolutely hasn't been.

Stinking subs. Has maybe 2 games against them to actually win a game or he's lost the fans.

Any dropped points before the first old firm next season followed by a defeat at their shithole and his days will be numbered.

Rangers managers do not survive if they can't beat them. It's as simple as that.

  7. Like a fart in the wind out there today.

A empty jersey performance of epic proportions. Mentally broken when playing the filth and especially Maeda, looked petrified from the first whistle.

A liability defensively and offering nothing going forward for weeks and weeks.

Fuck off and take your Fifa card with you.

  8. We absolutely have to score first today imo. We haven't lead against them at any point this season and although we've made decent attempts at getting back into games I just don't think we'll turn it round today if we concede first.

We also have to stop giving away easy goals. If you look at the goals we've conceded against them going back to Gio's first old firm the vast majority of them have been gift wrapped by us. Stupid individual mistakes or comically bad defending. And when you add in the good chances we continually seem to miss is it any wonder our recent record is so poor.

Manager comments are a complete red flag as well btw. 180 since the Hearts game where it was all about end of a cycle etc now he’s back to defending them to the hilt.

“That’s emotion , they don’t see training, they don’t see the team working, they don’t even know the players or how they are in the dressing room”

But we've watched them every week, and they're fucking shite.

    Convincing win for the BBC

Not one person there worth listening to tbh. I'll be doing what i do with most football these days and watch the game and little else before or after it.

So the last decade justifies wanting the current manager sacked because he failed to turn around a 7 point deficit with the worst team since 2017?

In the run up to the SCF I would prefer to wring every bit of positivity I could out that squad and hope we can get a result that doesn’t alter the rebuild but at least puts a smile on our faces for two months.

The alternative is to doom scroll and wallow in self pity about how we’re going to get scudded like a self fulfilling prophecy.

The end of the season is after next week, then the hard work starts to rip it up and get back to where we need to be, it’s not right now.

I haven't seen a single poster say the manager should be sacked because we failed to win the league.

Fuck up, followed all the way through the “journey” through the dog shit of Scotland and was fortunate enough to see what real success is prior to any of those events.

There are posters comparing PC to Beale, get rid of every player, sack the board, when do we riot…so yes it is reactionary.

The season is done next week, a valid argument would be was the season done when we sacked Beale but that’s another debate.

Once the season is done, the loan players go back and the OOC are released. I would hope that Koppen and PC have identified where we need to go with recruitment and the board are in full support.

It needs cool heads and a planned out process to make sure when we are back on top then it can be sustained dominance rather than boom or bust, alternatively you go ahead and storm NEH with a Board Out bedsheet, let me know how you get on.

    Fuck up.

You're the one making out as if the reaction we've seen from certain posters today is solely down to today's performance and result.

Lots and lots, perhaps even the majority of posters on here and fans in general are not acting reactionary, they are absolutely sick and fed up of the shite we've seen both on the pitch and off it for a decade.
