First press conference of Clements I've absolutely no intention of watching. I'd usually be on it immediately after it's been posted but after Sunday I just don'tgive a fuck about what he's got to say.
Just get the right team out there and win the fucking game.
And as for Butlands comments... Holy fuck. Did we not get a wake up call at home to Motherwell? Did we not get a wake up call in the first half last Sunday? Did we not reset at half time last Sunday? Was the first minute of the game at the weekend not a wake up call? Was the entire first half not a wake up call? Honest to fuck I'm so sick of hearing this same old shite time and time again.

My prediction:
He’ll sign a new contract (because we don’t have the funds to waste trying to replace him).
Him and Tav will start off next season slow and shit.
They’ll get up to match sharpness by week 5 and go on to be two of our best players.
We won’t rest or rotate them and they’ll play every single minute, twice a week, in every single competition.
Their form will gradually drop off. By crunch time around April they’ll look slow, their intensity and speed gone and look every bit their age.
We will call them losers and mentally weak.
Repeat.
Give it a rest ffs.

The last line is true but we know that's not how it works
He has to beat celtic between now and the end of the season either in the league or potentially in the cup final or he will be under huge pressure starting next season.
Rangers managers, rightly may i add, do not survive continually losing against that mob.
-
Business end of the season and he's scored 1 in his last 8.
Horrific stats for a Rangers cf.

Watched him during the warm up and he was barely hitting the target then.
Silva, Cantwell, Sima whipping balls into the corners and big Dessers the diddy not even making the keeper work. What chance have you got.

Don't say this lightly, but I fucking hate him.

He just plays with no fear. Got the ball, got turned and drove forward instead of Scott Wright passing it back all the time (and I don't know why the fuck Scott Wright always comes inside, instead of hugging the touchline and using his pace)
Probably because he'd just run the ball out of the park. And there's no point in having pace to beat a man if your final ball is terrible, which Wright's is.
He just isn't good enough, even as a squad player imo. Absolutely mental to think he started a European final for us and almost 2 years later he's starting as big an Old Firm as we've had in over a decade when he's as bad as he is.

the criticism of Diomande blows my mind. He is the best young midfielder since Ferguson and again, I thought he was good today (better than Lawrence and Lundstram)
Miller was critical and others followed suit like sheep imo...
Better than Arteta, Thomson, Davis??
Behave ffs.

1 point out of 9 this season just doesn't cut it simple as that
And haven't even taken the lead at any point. Constantly playing catch up and chasing the game which plays into their hands.
Maybe it will be a different story in the final Old Firm but with our recent record there it seems unlikely.
-
Assuming we beat Dundee and County of course.
-
If we win on Sunday the next old firm will have to be one of the first 2 fixtures after the split to avoid the possibility of winning it against the filth.
-
If it gets to the point that 4 or 5 fixtures have been cancelled over the course of the season surely the matches should be forfeited.
Dundee should be the only ones punished here and a 3 nil victory awarded to their opponents is the fairest punishment as I see it.

Silly discussion to be having with potentially 11 massive matches still to be played.
But at the moment it's got to be between Butland, Lundstram and Tav in that order.
Would throw in a little Sima curveball if he comes back and contributes at the same level he did before injury for the last run of games. A winner or 2 in the Old firms could sway some votes I'm sure.
Ridvan for YPOTY.

Can we handle the potential loss of
Sima, Silva, dessers, cortes, roofe, jack, balogun, barisic, wright, davies, lammers, hagi, lundstram, matondo
All either OOC or undeniably not good enough or loans going back to their clubs
Even if we did clear most of them, sell them etc, and save a fortune wages, would we find even 70% of that number within our transfer and wage budget to beef the squad up again
We've got Mclaughlin, Barisic, Davies, Balogun, Jack, Raskin, Dowell, Matondo, Wright, and Roofe who have contributed fuck all to very little over the season. All should either leave out of contract or be sold in the summer.
Add Hagi and Lammers who are clearly out of favour.
And Dessers who has contributed numbers wise this season but who the vast majority of fans would happily see sold this summer and it's a huge turnover of players.
But it has to be done.

I’d be happy if he’d hold the ball up in a game mate.
Five completed passes would be an improvement.

Injured the other day
But still a better option.
Because Dessers is shite.

An on form Morelos last night would have changed the outcome. If only.
Prime Morelos would be unbelievable in this team with this manager.
We just have to go and find the next one.

An expensive gamble that ultimately hasn't paid off. He's had some real highs, some exceptional goals and made a big contribution to 55 because he's a very talented player.
But for what he has cost us in transfer fee and wages it's been a bad signing overall. And hopefully the we put a stop to signings like this in the future because they rarely work out for us.

The Dessers conundrum simply comes down to this now.
Do you trust this guy to lead the line in two monumental games against them?
Absolutely not.
