One of them managed about a month in the PL before he was asked to jump on the next plane back to Amsterdam, the other I didn’t know existed until somebody on here suggested him. Unless king can pull £20 million out his arse I don’t see the benefit in going for Gio either. However uninspiring he is Clarke will make us hard to beat in the league. Maybe for the next 2 or 3 seasons, that’s what we need. Teams are just bullying us at the moment.

I’d play Dorrans, Docherty , and Goss against them. Drop Windass.

Both these suggestions fill me with utter dread.

I do t think it’s quantity, I think we’re lacking quality in key areas. In defence we have mostly shitebags, nobody that’s putting their bodies on the line for the club. Our keeper doesn’t dominate his area and leaves too many empty spaces for the attackers to score. For me, I do think midfield is pretty strong, maybe just lacking in quality going forward, that player who can split defences open. Upfront we are also weak. Never in a million years is Morelos worth £10 million, and Cummings is a bit meh for me. No ruthlessness like we’ve had in the past like McCoist or Boyd. That said, I do see positives in some of the younger players. McRorie looks a good talent, and Hardie should be given a run of 5-10 games next season to see if he develops into the player we’re looking for.

It’s where we are just now pal. We’re not going to be signing top strikers. Moult is proven in this league, has physical presence, and will come pretty cheap. For me, however much furore there was when he signed, Cummings has flattered to deceive. I’d go for moult instead, for the above reasons.

Complete fan ownership is possible. Just say 20,000 of us paid a yearly fee of £200 to be members. That’s £4,000,000 a year in the coffers. The fans elect members onto a board who take care of the day to day running of the club. All the major decisions, eg stadium upgrades, club structure, investment in key areas is put to a member vote Stirling Albion do it in a much smaller scale.

Nobody with money is buying ANY Scottish club in the next 50 years. There’s no profit in it. I’ve said all along, fan ownership is the only way forward for us.

I’d rather wait till the summer. Give him a chance to build his own team. Ive said this before, but the defendeers and goalkeeper aren’t up to it. Tavernier and John are great at going forward, but leave us wide open at the back. Tavernier especially. Alves and Cardoso are both shitebags. Sort that out, and we have the makings of a good team. Clarke would only inherit this pish.

The keeper should stay on his line, what that tells me is Foderingham had no confidence Cardoso was stopping Dembele. Even if he skins him though, he still has to beat the keeper.

Too many players not doing their jobs. Right/left back not defending, holding midfielders not covering, centre half’s standing off players, keepers running out needlessly. Not to mention Morelos who misses from 4 yards and Cummings who didn’t get a shot on goal. The only pass marks were Candeias and Murphy.

Boils down to the defence and ultimately the keeper. Regardless of the circumstances leading up to the goals, we shouldn’t be conceding 3 at home.

GK and defence needs a rethink. Goss also offers no protection.

Shipping three goals at home is never acceptable. No progress has been made .

Both will be on a small fortune. Both have a history of injury problems, and nasri has an attitude problem.

You wouldn’t mind him being a bit lazy if he was a threat going forward. But he is neither that. For me, I’d have him on the bench. Cummings in behind Morelos. Murphy, Candeias on the wings. If theres teams from England looking to sign him, bite their hands off.

They won’t search anybody. Just make sure any drink and other contraband is concealed.

A lot has been made of Cummings. But I reckon Murphy will be a better signing, and short term Goss will do well. There is a lot of deadwood we need to shift aswell. Alves, Herrera, maybe Cardoso, Dalcio, Halliday, O’Halloran...

Goss is always so cheerful.
