Its been a promising start from Whyte in regards to meeting the mhedia head on and hopefully, slowly but surely, he will weed them all out and drag them from under the rocks they have been festering for years. Liewell n Reid have had the mhedia in their back pockets for long enough! On another matter, why has Liewell been given a place on this new board at the SFA? Is there any representation from Rangers on this board? Or is this just to appease the bheggars that everything is done to the book? Rather worrying if you ask me!

Great post and agree with everything, have noticed the sudden turn in events and reporting of there mhob "mis-behaving" although still believe if it was us it would be highlighted much more, for example hardly a mention of there antics in Oz and apparently Cardiff also. Had that been us it would most likely be front page news. Nonetheless, its imperative we keep up the good work n continue to show them up for what they are n finally out THEM as Scotlands Shame

Just a few weeks ago there where people, myself included, getting absolute pelters on here for daring to suggest that we where a little concerned at the lack of transfer activity and pre-season performances. Missed out on Hemed, Conway, Danns and Vaughan, all on Bosmans who would have bolstered the squad and saved money for transfer fees but no, "fuck them we dont need them, not good enough anyway" was the response. Now all our fears are coming true. Yes its only 2 games in but Ally, legend or not, doesnt have the look of a manager. No subs when our players where CLEARLY dead on our feet and the system was CLEARLY not working, yet another manager who seems blinkered when it comes to Edu, penny pinching with every bid we make, squad not big enough, to much dead wood in the team, our big players look more than ring rusty, rumours of a rift between Ally n Whyte! Im more than a little concerned!!!! And before i get more pelters i hope and pray that im totally fucking wrong and Ally ends up as much a legend as a manager as he was a player

Was at that game, was a great laugh. Laudrup was ripping the piss big style, was amazing. The first time ive seen Rangers n Celtic fans walking to an OF together, was kinda surreal.

Do agree with you but think this could be a make or break season for Fleck and if Ally isnt gonna play him he should be loaned out to give him a run of games and hopefully get some form and confidence back. Possibly factor him into a deal to get Wallace or Goodwillie as i think he has a future at Rangers but perhaps needs a wake up call at another club for a while to realise exactly what he has at Rangers. Really hope he comes good because he has the potential to be a star here, just hope its not another Adam situatuion where he ends up leaving before fulfilling that potential.

Likewise but cant deny im slightly concerned. Fully expected us to have at least a few new faces in for the start of pre-season although i think we will have a better idea of targets once the EPL sides submit there squad lists for the season and perhaps look to pick up a few players that way. Not overly keen on loan signings but i expect we will make at least 3 or 4 as well as hopefully another 3 or 4 permanant signings. Keep the faith lads and stop the bickering between one another, its getting ridiculous on here at times, were starting to sound like the paranoid, deluded mhob across the city.

His agent was at Murray Park for talks so he may not have been offered a contract but we wanted to sign him n he didnt wanna come. In my book that means he knocked us back FFS

I guessed as much, wasnt realistic more in hope than anything else although i do think we need to review our wage budget or were gonna constantly be priced out the market by smaller clubs ie. Celtic, Cardiff n Leicester. Its starting to get embarrasing.

Dunno if hes been mentioned but Thomas Hitzlsperger has been released by West Ham. Realise CM isnt a priority and he will have plenty interest from the PL but on a free hes gotta be worth looking at and would be a perfect foil for Davis in CM. Also, will revive memories of our very own Hammer Also, on another note, i think we need to stop fuckin about n sort out the Goodwillie deal because its only a matter of time before we start to lose patience. Surely we can offer them Fleck on loan as a sweetener n let him get a season under his belt n prove he deserves to play for Rangers. Thats 4 players knocked us back now, not good enough IMO, we are Rangers, Scotlands biggest club, we need to start acting like it. Everyone saying its ages to the start of the season but its not, its less than 4 weeks away which is nothing! Come on Whyte, show us the money

Have to agree, the media have been doing this for years, they constantly put the OF up on a pedestal as the best, the most highly fought, the most bitter, the most poisonous Derby in World football then the minute it all kicks off they are the first on the bandwagon to shoot us down in flames and give it big licks about how something has to be done about this poisonous, bitter rivalry. What they all forget, the media, the SFA, the SPL and the Scottish Govt, is that without the Old Firm and all the wonderful historical baggage that comes with us, Scottish Football would be the equivilent of the Irish or Welsh Leagues. They need the OF way more than we need ANY OF THEM!
