Well we started the first five minutes brightly. We should have had at least one penalty (for me, Wallace was pulled down in the box second half). Again refereeing is biased where he seems to find his cards for blue shirts and turns a blind eye to clear fouls against us. That being said, we only have ourselves to blame. A flat first half display and profligacy in front of goal has cost us 3 points here today. The players need a fucking shake.

No one is comparing it to Scottish football. Frankly you'd have to be mental to do so. I don't think any of us are under any illusions there. But compared to the other top leagues in Europe the premiership is pretty dull these days. Like someone said earlier, the championship is a much more entertaining league. Last nights game ended 0-0 but both teams had a go and came close a few times. Much better than watching both Manchester clubs practically stare at each other from their own halves.

Yeah I remember when Italian football was thought of as extremely boring in the 90s. Defensively astute aye but with the amount of money paid by fans and clubs for "world class" talent I think it's expected that it should be a bit more exciting than what was served up yesterday. I dunno maybe adding 0.5 points for every goals scored (as well as goal difference) might change things. It's like teams just go out to stifle the game and not lose because the financial repercussions of not dining at the top table are too great a burden on clubs now.

Yeah I'm sure the money flying about down there is invested for 0-0 draws aye. The fans certainly haven't paid for good defending. I think the fact football is supposed to be entertaining is forgotten sometimes.

See I don't see why they can't change the decision ala suspension even if they deem the ref to have seen it. Remember Aluko being retrospectively done for "diving" when the ref saw it and took appropriate action. So why not look at that tackle and band the cunt for a studs up tackle?
