  1. It was a bit more complicated than that. Ken Bates - Leeds Utd
  2. Should we ask the English first, or just go down regardless
  3. Never realised that - I was just making a glib comment.
  4. Exactly !! Christ, Mark Hateley is more of a Milan Legend than him.
  5. I would have preferred it if they had shown what questions they asked.
  6. If the old company was liquidated, then why would we have a right to remain in the SPL
  7. With regards to McInnes - I reckon he'll be the next Paul Lambert in management.
  8. Have you currently seen where Portsmouth are lying in the Championship at the moment ?? This was a team that had players like Crouch, Defoe, Glen Johnson, etc. only a few years ago and won the FA Cup. Christ, look what happened to a club like Leeds Utd, semi-finalists in the CL in 2001 and have been wallowing around in the lower English leagues since 2004. Sorry for being so alarmist, but this may be a bumby ride for us over the coming months/years. I just hope that the many bears stay loyal and patient until we eventually come through the other side.
  9. My question of "why" was just sarcasm. However, like Bain, McIntyre is suing due to a breach in disciplinary procedures and reputational damage due to Whyte spewing all to a hungry press pack. You do not have to be a lawyer specialising in Employment Law to know that Whyte has seriously screwed up with his dismissal of both, and once again we are facing cringeworthy headlines showing the running of our club resembles a shambles.
  10. Can anyone actually see the club making money on this game ? Regardless of the threat of players getting injured, is there a possibility that this game can do more harm to us financially than what we are already in.
  11. John Greig has been a servant to Rangers for around 50 years and served under many owners/chairmen. To simply get rid of him due to wrecklessness of our previous egotistical owner would have been insensitive in the extreme. What concerns me is that he felt the need to resign rather than just retire. Surely that outcome would have appeased him, the fans, and the experienced businessman Craig Whyte.
  12. To be fair the guy has a point. There is a massive void when it comes to determining where Whyte has made his supposed millions. If you look at the history of UK organisations he has been involved in, they have mainly been dissolved. If this is how he has made his "fortune" (i.e. taking over failing companies, salvaging any monies from the wrecks and spiriting any cash off to the BVI) then I think it is right for fans to question his intentions for our club.
  13. No Do you honestly believe Greig was involved in the tax schemes and financial mismanagement that has led us to our current plight. While we can argue about what attributes he brought to the Board, I think his real worth was in providing a link between what Rangers mean/meant to many older supporters and the new Rangers that Murray dreamt he was going to achieve.
  14. Why should John Greig be removed as being part of the "Murray empire".
  15. TheWeissMan is correct - it's all about cash flow !! And that's discounting the possible devastating outcome of the Tax Case.
  16. I'm just on the 1st page of this thread, and have no great desire to go further. I totally agree with you - no need to go for looking for media bias or point score, my thoughts go to family and friends of the victim. That actions like this go on in a "civilised" society depresses me.
  17. I've got to leave for work now - will check in this evening
  18. I'm curious - laws of probability ?? Why ?? (and my answer is probably wrong as well )
  19. You'll need to tell Craig Whyte this, it stems from his comments in the Telegraph the other day.
