I hope he impresses and signs, but our general lack of trialist signings gives me pause. Anyway, I'm assuming this has come about as a result of Ally's South America trip?

Who is the last player we actually signed after a trial? I can't think of a single one. Hmmm. Did Kerkar have a trial?

The trouble is for the most part we returned with no tv. We went for Hemed and Goodwillie. Knocked back. Instead we got..... Oh. No-one. We went for Verhoek, got knocked back. Instead we got..... Er, umm. Finally, we got McKay, who I suspect will be very decent, but I don't think he is the same type of player and wasn't a replacement for a Verhoek type. Now, McKay will prove to be a bargain, but I don't think his signing was as a result of not getting Verhoek. Admittedly we went for Juhasz and Cuellar but got Boca. He looks decent enough, but, with respect, not in the same bracket as the other two. Goian looks great, but he was ALREADY signed before we continued discussion with the other two.

If Ally plays Edu and Jig together then we will know he has learnt little from the early matches.

Murray would not have first hand access to documents etc anymore, so by definition he couldn't be the originator. He'd have to be fed by another mole, and release info in turn, so I doubt it.

Haven't heard anything about him since his injury except the rumour that he had said his goodbyes (which I doubt as it would be public by now). So, is he just taking a while to heal as he is 105 and, like Mr Burns, has a delicately balanced ecosystem of diseases and lurgees which are keeping him going? :mellow: Or is he never to be seen in the blue again?

If he leaves there is no way that Ally will get all of the money IMO. I'd also be concerned about who he'd be spending it on at this late stage
