In FM world you could, if you add the relevant leagues and new user/ offer players etc. But McArthur and Goodwillie were offered to us in summer 2010 for roughyly 1.5-2million according to reports at the time.... given the fact we signed Weiss and Beattie's deals for that and more.... would have been good business. Conway / commons should have been signed last Jan 1 would have cost 200k and the other 400k. As I said....pointless...but surely would have been better than the dross we have now. Jelavic and Miller upfront with Goodwillie and Novo to come off the bench...

MF - Thomson,Davis,McArthur,Conway / Commons, Wylde,Fleck, Edu, Naismith, Templeton, Hutton,Ness. FW - Jelavic,Miller,Goodwillie,Lafferty, Novo. THAT squad would run away with the SPL , IMO.....and wouldnt have crashed out of europe this season... could probably cope with the sale of Jelavic and Davis aswell....without the overhaul we need now... Pointless thread I know, but....

Possibly the one player in Scotland where everyone agrees he has zero talent. How he got a move from Inverness to Hearts even is beyond me. low points - european results during 9iar (93 season apart), refusing to play Barry Ferguson in the 10iar season and his idiotic decision to say he was leaving in october of that year, which cost us 10iar. Still have no idea how we lost massive games at Ibrox in 12months (motherwell for 9 ) and Killie for the 10 in a row.... High points, 9 in a row, european run in 93, signing the likes of Albertz,Laudrup,Gazza. and despite what people think, playing some decent football during the 9iar. Brining Hateley back for the game at the piggery was a masterstroke. Davie Weir's signing, having the balls to drop ferguson and mcgregor , knowing if we lost the title we would be fecked. UEFA cup final obvs....3 in a row....obvs and have to say... see'ing off so many celtic managers is the highlight for me. Also his ability to scare the shit out of players with massive ego's.

how exactly is signing barry ferguson and lovenkrands the answer? for 1 thing, they would demand around 45-50k a week between them in wages. Lovenkrands only looked interest in the big games and looked very poor vs most teams week in week out. Ferguson.... what is he now 33? and would be just the same as having McCulloch on the pitch.
