  1. Mainly because Ally has more class than that Ginger nugget, who runs to the papers everytime he gets beat to use refs as a scapegoat to mask over a bad performance
  2. He has shown exceptional depths of character recently, but as mentioned above, I don't believe he is a good enough manager on the field. His selections lost us games last term, and lack of important changes during matches put us to the sword a few times especailly in Europe
  3. Walked out my arse, away and fish somewhere else.
  4. In all fairness bud, we'd be smiling if they were close to extinction, but I've even argued with some fellow bears at work who still believe CW knows what he's doing and has hidden money for our rising from the ashes and has planned every step of this. I don't believe we'll ever see the troubles of the past, or at least not on the same level anyway.
  5. I'm guessing you mean should we lose the titles if found guilty? No, the financial penalties we have and may still endure will surely be enough wouldn't you agree Ryan?
  6. Funny... after taking my head out of my arse, I can still see posts on the first page of this thread "clapping" at Dunfermline's misfortune?!?
  7. Exactly. If someone told you last year we wouldn't be able to pay Dunfermline ticket money of £85k, you'd tell me to 'fuck right off', so how anyone can be happy at this is beyond me... even if it's to prove a point. Rangers Can't Pay Dunfermline and people are clapping that?!?
  8. You may be right there, but look at the majority's reaction at just going into administration, liquidation will not be tolerated by a lot of fans, even if it is outwith their control. CW's "more pain to come" statement does suggest it is inevitable!
  9. Wishful thinking. There is no way a man who has had to lie as much as he did has "played the system brilliantly". I won't shoot you down as others may do just for sticking up for him, but how does a man end up being investigated by the police, the sfa, etc etc look to have a chance of coming out of this positively? These organisations would doubtful start official investigations based on nothing but news specualtion and here-say, no matter what anyone says. He seems to have misjudged how public a job he took on in all fairness. BIG TIME
  10. "The Rangers Charity Foundation has offered to forego the majority of its share". Think we'll get more than the charity. Pretty poor that we've come to this. Fucking Whyte and Murray should pay the difference to them out of their own pocket (if either two of them have 10 bob between them). They are a disgrace
  11. If Whyte has been putting money like this into a non-Gers account so the tax man can't touch it or class it as gers finances, can he get away with popping it back into our account post admin? Also, is there truth in the old board suggesting to Whyte that he could sell these shares when they showed him our accounts last April before he "bought" us?
  12. Excellent reply, couldn't have said it better myself. The recent "persecution" from the "mhedia" has been brought upon by these two men alone. Sadly, the views of some are so deep routed that they will only ever see things the way they want to see them. It's sad to see others thinking they have to take the same stance when they probably don't understand what they're sticking up for. Rangers IS a football club and anyone that still wants to use our club on religious grounds needs to wake up and see that the majority of our support don't give a toss about that side of things anymore. Conspiracy theories are a dime a dozen.
  13. i get where you're coming from bud, but in most quarters it's argued the SPL wouldn't survive without us, so surely being relegated to div 3 (which i agree we'd be due just like Livinsgtone) would kill the league of before we get back up to it? Where do we go from there?
  14. I understand that mate, but it'll be difficult trying to keep a competitive team together who will want to play in the Scottish lower divisions. Our current first team would be sold in the summer (guaranteed) if we had to go down divisions and we'd be left trying to work with our youth squad all of a sudden. Players on bigger salaries would have to be sold on and who in their right minds would come to play in the 3rd division? Whatever team we'd be left with would need to quickly gel together and play competitively on shitty wee stadiums where they'd have to play long ball more often than not (cos of the state of their grass), a system those teams would be used to remember. They'd be more used to playing football in such crappy conditions... would we? And again, who would we sign... even a team with our reputation would find it difficult attracting ANY player to the 3rd div. Hypotheticaly... i'd prefer to stay in the SPL, no matter what the punishment, as our team would still be able to compete just as strong, and we'd make up any points deduction quickly and still pump the lot of them... scum included.
  15. Some seem to be forgetting how difficult life would be in lower Scottish divisions? Do you honestly think we'd have anywhere close to the team we have now? We couldn't offer big wages, or afford big transfers and with the new UEFA rules stating you can only spend what you make, that would mean even lesser chances of getting decent players. Who'd want to play in div 3 too? Plus you need to remember how shite the pitches we'd be playing on are, so long ball would need to be used more often than not like the rest of the teams in div 3, teams who'd be used to be playing week in week out on tattie fields. I'd prefer to accept any punishment the SPL gives us as it's a much more realsitic way of staying healthy financially and keeping competitive. Not sure why so many would want to cut off our nose to spite our face? Going down divisions would NEVER work. Those expecting a quick 3 year turnaround back to the SPL and coming back stronger than ever need to actually think what we'd be giving up first for 3 years. We'd fall further behind imo.
  16. Do we need to pay him full redundancy money... and if we do... how much would that be roughly? I can't see us being able to just cancel someones contract without them getting a say or a penny in compensation?
  17. It's NOT the fault of any other team in the SPL that we're in this position... even the manky one. We all need to stop trying to blame the spl, c****c, hmrc, the record, bbc, etc etc etc. Blame murray and white... save all your anger for them and them alone.
  18. I still don't get this attitude, but why are some fans still blaming the tabloid or "mhedia" for their attack on Whyte? I've seen FAR worse written about him by the majority here on RM, and although we don't like it, CW has brought this press coverage on us, as would any chairman of any other club behaving in the same wreckless manner. To those who still defend him, and I appreciate you've added your reasons for doing so, can't you see how niave it's making you look to the majority of the support? This is big news and the coverage it has recieved goes hand in hand. I can understand why we'd blame the media for all of this pre admin, but c'mon... does anyone still believe these stories are made up (and I mean the important ones)? It's CW they've had in their sights from the beginning, and sadly he represents our club. Putting the unfairness/bias of the secterian singing articles aside, most stories involving CW and SDM haven't been that far from the truth. There still seems a degree of denial about all of this, maybe due to the ambiguity of it all and the amount which has come out in such a small time, but those fans need to stop letting their heart do their talking and see sense and see CW for what he is... a poor excuse of a businessman who pulled the wool over lloyds, the sfa and SDm's eyes and has nearly put us into liquidation doing so (and I'm not defending murray). We've had it that good for so long that some of us think we now deserve nothing less than league titles and a huge bank balance, but sadly two clowns have succeeding in making that a wee bit out of our grasp... FOR NOW.
  19. Lighten up ya fud. A tad hypocritical you addressing "one upmanship"!
