  1. Means nothing. That 7.5k a week isuntil end of season when whyte new we'd be going into administration... how many pt jobs/families could that have saved for the next year? A totally pointless buy in hindsight
  2. you beat me too it bud ha
  3. Maybe read some posts or news to find out mate. we have that arse murray saying on ssn that he's surprised that we have went into administration WITHOUT the tax case even being decided yet, so what has whyte done in last 9 months to us? 9.5million in tax outstanding allegedly since he took over, countless suppliers and local businesses with ties to rangers will be fucked royally by administration and may force them under too (whereas he gets his dosh back), staff will lose jobs but he takes cousin on at 7.5k pw (which looks the most pointless gesture in the world if he knew admin was close), his history seems to be as AJ and co claim to be, called a "wholly unreliable witness" in recent roofing case by judge, murray claims ticketus money was applied for pre-deal so what happened to it, jelavic money where did it go, no accountsm no agm. Yesterday he made out this was the best option for our club due to past board, BUT... that's mainly the hrmc case, that might still be won, it's whatever he has done since taking over that has got us into administration. This came about today. Messy, but hope that helps mate
  4. Got in a taxi today and driver said he was a fan of 53 years but won't be returning to ibrox after what whyte has done recently (although murray got just as much dusgust from him). His main points; Whyte may have screwed countless small businesses and creditors who have conducted business with Rangers for many years out of hard earned cash without giving a shit where it leaves them. (His recent 90k roofing bill case shows his real character). Families out of jobs because he hasn't bothered paying any tax in last 9 months. Empty promises of being a billionaire, transfer cash etc. 11 failed companies. One statement that I did take with a pinch of salt, although i wouldn't totally be surprised was that his pal (taxi drivers that is) was ex fraud squad, and they've been looking into whyte for years, and he has ties to some dodgy people up here. Although again, this could have been to add a little colour on my road to work this morning! The guy didn't come axcross like a bullshitter though, and he proved to be quite the historian of past events in our history
  5. It was always his right to appoint his own administrators? Of course they'll try get their own guy in, makes it all simpler and quicker, but doesn't change their game plan does it? I'm all for putting a positive slant on this mess, but this "battle" we won today means hee haw mate
  6. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11788/7521483/Murray-surprised-by-Gers-decision After reading this I don't know what to think! Mind fucked.
  7. Pretty sure if he has then the administrator and hrmc MIGHT find it and might want it! No? They'll surely now have access to our books and if he has hidden it away... isn't that worse than what murray and co did? Sounds pretty fraudulent to me
  8. How's that? They would have known fine well that if they beat Rangers in the case we wouldn't be able to pay. The mhedia took care of that, not as if it's not been public knowledge that 49m plus would kill us off... Whyte said it himself. They are out for the win and the win alone, not the money. They want maximum damage and WILL go after english premiership teams who owe MUCH MORE than us next (plan from start, use the team in the shitty spl that nobody cares about to see how they fare.). We were the test case and they will not give a shit about us in administration. It's far too public a case now too, AJ and the rest of the rats have made sure of that, so what have they to lose? They will not settle as it will send hope to other clubs, businesses that cheating the tax man carries severe penalties. Sorry for doom and gloom, but I'd rather be realistic. This is no victory for us or CW. murray fucked up, we're all paying for it. "hrmc have lost a huge battle"... aye, a better ther're really hurting like us right now!
  9. They were lawful, but the way they were used wasn't. To use them correctly they COULDN'T be used for weekly/monthly salaries. IF Murray and Co hadn't kept written records of using them as salaries they would never have been in this position. Sadly, the club were too diligent (believe it or not) with their record keeping and books, and this is how they were caught out. Money from EBTs had to be at least declined once a year so as to prove they were not getting used for salaries. This didn't happen. Instead they were used to pay much lower tax, which reduced massively their tax liability for PAYE on salaries. This is very watered down obviously but i hope it helps.
  10. Will the accounts show us exactly what's being going on IF they ever surface?
  11. Surely doing it earlier could have meant players being sold in January?
  12. They'll offer support but they'll never help or force HRMCs hand. They MAY gain voters, but they may equally lose other voters. Rangers, more the old firm, isn't well liked by the non footballing supporter. They see the reports of haterd, secteraniasm etc etc all over the news all the time. Some would like nothing more than see the old firm no more. Plus the other clubs who entered administration may not be the happiest of chappies. Plus, edinburgh is the capital, not generally our support is it? Nice if they did make this go away, but very wishful thinking
  13. I think it's only fair that every bear gets to vent their feelings/anger/shock in whatever thread they wish in all fairness? i think we all earn that today. (but i know what you mean lol)
  14. Does anybody know which players used EBTs for certain?
  15. murray is to blame for this mess 100%, but he did give us the chance of seeing greats like Gazza, Laudrup, Gio VB, Gattuso, Prso and many more... so my qustion is, Would you have rather we kept within our financial limits with player signings and saved today from happening OR are you happy that we had some of the worlds best players play for our great club???
  16. It's not hrmc's fault, it's murray and bains ALL THE WAY. HRMC's hand may have been forced even further by pricks like bain and AJ and tims using the press to publically force them into taking this all the way, and no doubt murray was pulling their strings due to being contractualy banned from speaking about the takeover with the press. Murray broke the law and we are paying for it now. £72 million in debt only years ago due to his fucking ego getting the better of him. He definitely new what they were doing, it was the only way to keep running due to debt. Any savings, crooked or not were attempted. Call himself a businessman, and they've got a cheek to slag our chairman.
  17. I understand IF we lose the league some may want to put a positive spin on it, but the players need our support and I refuse to give in until the very last. They cunts will be lapping pish talk like this up even more ffs
  18. That's that then... he said "very slim possibility (hrmc will settle)... we have to face that Rangers WILL be in administration". Sad day.
  19. This could be whyte's plan after coming out of admin imo. Would we consider it? Probably. Would all of us? No chance.
  20. I'm pretty shocked to hear fans not giving a shit about winning the league again? Are you mentalists? This is playing into c****cs scummy wee mits. IF I said this at my work I'd get laughed at even more for sucks sake
  21. Donate to who... the poor creditors.... adminsitrators will take every penny and give it to White (secured creditor) or any other poor bastard waiting in line. Nice sentiment, not well thought out.
  22. 1988 David Murray buys a majority shareholding in the club for £6m from Lawrence Marlborough. 2001 The Murray Park training ground is opened at a cost of £14m. 2002 Murray quits as chairman but continues as owner. 2004 Murray returns as chairman after increasing stake in the club. Murray heavily underwrote a £57m share issue after the club's debts peaked at £72m. 26 August 2009 Murray announces he is to step down as Rangers chairman. Alastair Johnston is named as his successor 24 October The club's manager Walter Smith claims Lloyds Bank is controlling Rangers' spending following the appointment of one of its representatives, Donald Muir, to the board 12 November Rangers' annual report shows debts have risen by £10m to £31m 27 April 2010 Rangers confirm they are under investigation by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs over offshore payments to players from 2001. A final tax bill could be as much as £49m I really hope murray never comes near our club again, clause or no clause. A failed businessman who may have gave us great memories, but these memories are all fuck all now. A bad dream imo
  23. Don't take it personally mate, tempers and reactions are going to be volatile for a wee while. Hopefully the infighting won't last long as we need a strong united support at this time.
  24. Fuck, she looks fantastic here. Great mammaries. Well played.
