  1. going on the past record of our governing bodies I say there is a better than 50% chance it can drag on that long.
  2. I'm deffo coming home for that one... I hope it goes ahead. Will be the first game i'll take my 7 year old to as well. Some of these will be moved around since the septic are at home as well some games.
  3. Div 3 it is then. If Rhegan and Liewell concoct another twist we should organise another march on hampden to get him out. Doncaster better keep his trap shut as well they had their chance they didn't want it don't start greeting now!
  4. Even if the SFL clubs choose Div 3 the SFA will still shove us in Div 1 because of "sponsorship" deals which they can't renegotiate. Be great to have a good kicking at other clubs when they file for bankruptcy.... too many teams in Scotland anyway be great to clear out a few of the SPL diddy teams who bring nothing to the game but eat of our plate.
  5. I don't get it why would someone want to buy a shell with potential debts of over 100 million? Ok what if they did buy the company (which still has 1 SPL share?) does that mean they get into the SPL lol That would be something. However it doesn't surprise me that the British press are still hounding gazza they haven't learned after all this time. They really are the bottom dwellers of society yet people keep buying their papers.
  6. I'm not religious at all, not that loyal to the queen either however.... I will sing anything if it annoys the beggers.
  7. NO sure if serious? This is the same UEFA who invented the champions league?
  8. I throught the brochure was crass but actually liked the back page... Yes we'll do stuff to stay in the league but you know what... WE ARE RANGERS Would be better if he'd added NO ONE LIKES US WE DON'T CARE below He knew we weren't going to get anywhere so why not add that to the back page
  9. killie had to otherwise the bank that owns them would have pulled the plug it'll pull the plug anyway next season
  10. Just read the RFFF minutes. If it's good enough for Ally it's good enough for me.
  11. I agree with this. I loved Brown as a player and no one has ever celebrated a goal against the scum more than him 8.35Was at that game He's asking the right questions and I salute him for that. These questions need to be asked. However if he dropped this whole "i've got a consortium" statement he'd win more supporters. It's too late now to have a consortium he had 16 weeks to find one before Green came along. However i'd like to know where the deeds are are they with Green? Has the SFA checked this out? If so why can't we find out about this? So I'm backing Green but with a healthy dose of skepticism. He needs to provide answers ASAP.
  12. I said unsure I think the SPL+ SFL should force the SFA's hand in this they have been doing F all for weeks although they were fairly quick to hand out the fines and embargoes just as Rangers were finalising take over bids. They are also not blameless in this whole scenario. Isn't the SFA the main authority for scottish fitba? This question of what to do with us shouldn't even be an issue in every other league it's back to the bottom for clubs liquidated. Why is Scottish fitba such a shambles? Or is this simply a ruse to avoid the Gers playing anywhere next season which is what will happen if no one takes any decision soon.
  13. so anyone want to bet on the amount of times "alledged" is said? I'll start with 26 Also willing to have a wee sidewager on "sources" @ 15 also no news there they are making it sound like the EBT was a hidden secret it never has been the sideletters formed part of the contract as anyone with any basic knowledge of contracts will know. Everything was passed to the SPL/SFA. This is smoke and mirrors he's starting with the presumption that the EBTs were secret.... They weren't.
  14. Would it not simply be because Rangers Group is registered as a company operating out of London? They are the parent company of Rangers Plc. Name & Registered Office: THE RANGERS FC GROUP LIMITED 4 BEDFORD ROW LONDON UNITED KINGDOM WC1R 4DF Company No. 07380537 Accounting Reference Date: 30/04 Last Accounts Made Up To: (NO ACCOUNTS FILED) Next Accounts Due: 16/04/2012 OVERDUE Last Return Made Up To: 17/09/2011 Next Return Due: 15/10/2012
  15. Don't the creditors get the final say? I thought they had 4 weeks to vote on any final offer? If they vote no then the assets get liquidated and they take their chances in court....
  16. Neil Doncaster was on the radio the other night where he said that since the SPL had not came to a decision then the old rules still applied for a newco. Apparently these old rules = no rules at all which mean no sanctions. Now we read that Miller seems to be the preferred bidder and he wants no sanctions. So do you think Rangers put a bit of pressure on the other SPL teams not to vote allowing the Gers to start next season without any sanctions? Any vote would only concern future teams so if rangers were out of admin before the vote.... hehe
  17. If the submit a bid by the weekend you can be sure that the SPL will seriously up their "new rules" on the game to kick the gers in the nuts. Supposed PB a few weeks ago SPL announce their plan to move the goalposts.. DELAY tactic 1 Next final bid approaches SFA rush through their decision DELAY tactic 2 Now we have a possible new offer expect emergency meetings over the weekend by SPL to make sure it's DELAY tactic 3. Not bad enough we are in the shit they want to make sure we choke on it as well.... I'm still hopeful because hope is all we have left....
  18. I find the D&P have handled the situation very bizarre. What were all the statements last week about liquidation being imminent and stating that they couldn't carry on until the end of the season. Then all of a sudden hip hip hurray we have the cash and things are ok. EBT talk is never mentioned by D&P yet they are keen to find a buyer. What about Whyte is he not still the owner, can the administrators discount him as a creditor and owner? Or as I fear are they looking for a buyer to actually BUY the club and it's debts off Whyte and will he sell it for the same price he bought it? I'm not a lawyer and have no background in company accounts or administration but I find the way D&P have handled the last 3 weeks to be strange, should the administrators be doing PR exercises? Also the admins have stated that there are between 5-10 potential interested parties. I just hope the "right" consortium gets the nod. Or else we could be back in the shit again this time next year. It's a wait and see game...
  19. The plot thickens. In layman's terms Whyte sold tickets to finance his purchase of the club BUT He possibly sold the tickets before he was owner of the club and didn't have the rights to sell the tickets. Therefore he borrowed short term from his lawyers and paid them off with the remainder of the ticket sales cash after paying off lloyds? This would make the deal with ticketus legit. I really depends on the dates the club ownership went through and the ticketus deal went through, what a mess...
  20. Can you imagine it being called this. Would be great....
  21. Not quite he said every penny that's in Ranger's accounts has been accounted for .... pedantic difference but a difference.... Depends what Whyte considers Rangers money.
  22. This is the problem. It has been the problem from the start. Is it 10 million or 75 million. I find it disgraceful that it takes so long to sort out a tax case, also even if the decision goes for Gers and we don't owe a penny HMRC have already stated they will appeal that decision and we are right back to square 1. The administrators must be looking to keep the Gers going until the results of the tax case after which they will at least know how to proceed. If HRMC were really interested in keeping Rangers going they would have already settled on a fee. Also has 100% of the season ticket cash for 2012 - 2013 been spent? What are the bears opinions on this are you going to renew or not?
