I'm not calling for McCall to get the job by any means but I've got to take issue with a few points here. The four players you mention aren't good enough regardless of his motivational skills, Mourinho couldn't get those duds going. It's more than a mental thing with these guys, they simply aren't good players. Also, how can you actively dislike a guy like Stuart McCall who has certainly contributed a fair amount to the history of our club?

It's a personal opinion that I just don't see him as the man to rebuild Rangers. He definitely should be in with a shout if he gets us up but I don't think it should be a straight case of if we're promoted then he should get the job. We should be keeping our options open.
