  1. Brilliant news, get it right up the ugly bitter wee hoor! Fairly made my Friday ??
  2. Have had the privilege to see many, many magnificent players over the years, both in the Rangers blue & other colours too. My old man is 85 & I'm 47 now, the first Rangers game he took me to was Man Utd v Rangers friendly in 1974 (we won 4-2 I think) strangely enough we were at the Rangers v Man Utd friendly in 1990/91 where a big long haired fella called hateley had just signed. From John Greig to Davie Cooper, Brian Laudrup, Gazza, Hateley & McCoist, Butcher, Gough & Roberts, Goram, Klos & McCloy - I can only thank my father for taking me to games as a nipper & instilling a love for the beautiful game. He took me to Wembley 77, Anfield 78 to see the great Scotland team of the late 70's (still got the programmes btw). He was lucky enough to see Rangers v Moscow Dynamo in 1945 when he was a lad of 15 as well. I miss going to the games with him now due to his old age & ill health, but I'll always cherish the memories of great times with him watching great players, wether it be in the Light Blue of Rangers, the Dark Blue of Scotland or even the Tangerine of Blackpool (that's where we lived in the 70's!) Anyway, typing this has got me all misty eyed & emotional tonight, must be the time of year... Happy Christmas fellow bears! WATP
  3. Merry Christmas from all at The Daily Bugle!
  4. You are a fenian, a fenian bastard, You're only happy on giro day, Your dads a paedo, your maws a weirdo, You'll never take our titles away...

  6. The Mishnish Hotel. Fabulous pub indeed! Has a rather impressive shrine to Rangers in a corner at the end of the bar. I was in there for an old firm game and the barmaids were threading Rangers scarfs between the optics before the game to annoy any tims who wandered in (not many pubs in Tobermory with Sky!)
  7. There's some fusilli comments in this thread...
  8. Did you pause it on the credits & check out the names????

  10. The epitome of class, elegance & tradition. A truly magnificent theatre for football & fans.
  11. peter lawwell & ǝpɐbıɹq uǝǝɹb ǝɥʇ join forces to start a petition to get Prince William's name changed to something less offensive to the poor tims. Declan O'Flaherty (36 & unemployed) stated today "it's gonna be brutal when William becomes King maaaan, they h*** will be pyoor loving it. They'll huv Union Jacks wi King Billy oan them everywhere, it's no fair & its pyoor rascist against us by the way so it is. Suggestions so far include - Gerard, Sean & John Paul. The Queen (who has seen off more Popes than cancer) is presently holidaying at Balmoral and due to surpass the magnificent 63 year reign of her great, great grandmother Queen Victoria, stated "One will not listen to any rebellious republican nonsense regarding my grandsons fine Protestant name & one may even consider adding to the celebrations by abdicating the throne to William when my team, The Famous Glasgow Rangers lift their world record 55th League title next season" Local Catholics were left reeling at this response & have gathered around parkhead for a candlelight vigil.
  12. Just checked this out, cheers! Anybody else noticed the phone number to subscribe yet??? 0800 169 1690!!
  13. Jorg Albertz knocking 3 of Paul Lamberts teeth out with his knee....oops!
  14. Richard Gough all day long for me. However....Jimmy Nicholl must get a mention as he was made captain for his last game for Rangers which turned out to be against sellik. He was sent off before half time for booting tommy burns into the west enclosure!!
  15. Stuart McCall & Jock Wallace both their fathers played for Blackpool (with my uncle) Andy & Jock Snr
