  1. press settings, subtitles, then change translate to english bound to be some belter misinterpretations but being Gers fans, we're well used to that.
  2. I'd have been content with Tommy Wright. This, though, I think I can give the benefit of the doubt and my full continued support. I await the same commitment from the Board and Major Shareholders. Bring it on.
  3. Official Round-up, Matt made his sixth appearance for the Iron as they lost 2-0 against Fleetwood but more importantly it was the midfielder’s first 90 minutes of football for a year since his ankle injury last March. The 23-year-old went out on loan to get some valuable game time after being plagued by injury so Saturday marked a big step for him in his return to full fitness. The 23-year-old went close to finding the net in the defeat but Fleetwood keeper Alex Cairns pulled off a fine save to repel his close-range header. Clearly needed this loan period away to get up to speed again. Hope it works out for all parties.
  4. Thanks, so basically no substance to go on yet.
  5. Who said what to suggest an announcement will be made today? or is this just wishful thinking and an excuse for another thread on the matter?
  6. He just cant be doing shit like that. He's a liability and should only play if Hill or Wilson are injured. I've had it with him - punt him to Forest in the Summer.
  7. Strange the hullabaloo over this Record piece when the presser was yesterday and both were discussed in the Bears Den. The mhedia spin has worked a trick with some of the comments in the thread. Hill was asked if the season would be a success if they still managed Euro Qualification. Hill responded, that given how the season has panned out that qualifying would be considered a success at this stage. With many fans having already thrown in the towel, I think his statement is pretty realistic.
  8. Generally I'd agree with that but the influence nowadays from the media is such that there is so much coverage of football generally and in Scotland its mostly anti-Rangers. Hoping for the tide to change direction is a gamble. When i grew up, I had the Skol Cup Finals to get me hooked on the beautiful game. This afternoon alone, Spurs on tv, Barca/Madrid, Southampton/MUTD.... There is far more coverage to turn the heads of the next generation that we have a greater responsibility to make sure our children follow as we did.
  9. I reckon Kids are pretty easily manipulated up to a certain age. My Boys are 8 and 10, made their first games 14/15 season. Several trips to Glasgow and a couple of printed shirts each season has them brimming about the Gers at School. Their Saturday training sessions are a wash with Barca and Madrid shirts but I think that's the case across the continent. You have to work at kids and keep them interested. My Wife and the inlaws all support them, there are influences all over the place so there is no excuse for accepting their switch in allegiance. Admittedly the football hasn't been as attractive to watch this last few months but its a good lesson for the kids to learn togetherness when things are not going our way.
  10. Don't think Barry has the experience required, certainly haven't seen him demonstrate it in a Managerial capacity anyway. If it happens, I'll get behind him but think id rather see someone with a few more miles on the clock.
  11. I thought you were out. My argument was very clearly defending suggestions that King is on the take. You then quoted me asking if King was trustworthy. Questioning my defence of the current board just seems taigy to me. Not that i stated you are a taig precious, just claimed its a taigy stance. I have plenty issues with the way the Club is being run but right now we need a Manager that the support can get behind and it's no time to start tearing the place apart.
  12. Oooh hit a nerve have I. Good riddance. Blatantly suggesting our current directors of stealing finances from the Club is taigy. If you can't accept that then tough. Fire on and call me all the names under the sun if it makes you feel good. Sums up your argument. I just calls it as I sees it.
  13. Propaganda Sue, divisionary tactics that still today appear to have you convinced. You'd rather have CG and Somers - they were really fit and proper.
  14. Absolutely 100% No. Name one trustworthy businessman. While I wouldn't put it past him ripping off the SA Authorities or other competitors in his line of work but the Club he supported since a boy? - wise up and stop being so taigy
  15. just think about those 2 words for a wee while and you'll realise they don't normally appear side by side. King will not be syphoning cash from the club. Some certain type of folk revel in all this...
  16. Foderingham Hodson, Hill, Wilson, Wallace O Halloran, Hyndman, Forrester, McKay Waghorn, Garner. Would have given Alnwick a start but for a good display from Wes last night. Miller is trying too hard and finding himself out of position too often. Garner must start. Kiernan needs dropped. Don't think I've seen Tav and MOH play well together yet so for that reason, Tav drops out.
  17. Winning the Scottish Cup is possible. Many things are possible but seriously, anyone who genuinely believes this Board are fleecing the club have been listening to shite on internet forums for too long now. While I don't believe King done himself any favours stating there was 18M investment so far, I don't think for a second they are taking cash out.
  18. so King is creaming cash off Rangers into an account in SA or the Cayman Islands - I call bollocks
  19. Another example of how the media twist the message to make us look bad. I'm quite certain that if DW and MW were given half of the 100M figure they would end Celtic's dominance. What could DW say? Money guarantees nothing. That's what I take from that. Nothing in the interview, which I watched in full, came across as defeatist. Fully expected the press to run with headlines of DW claims even 100m wont catch Celtic. That's NOT what he said. More fool the moaners on here who believe everything that's written in the press. I'd suggest anyone not already subscribed, should sign up for RTV and keep up with our pressers directly. Reading twisted versions in the MSM will only give you ulcers.
  20. Pleased to see that - if true. No complaints with either player and we see only a wee bit of what they bring to the squad. Worth every penny. Agree Wes to follow soon, what a difference in him with Gilks in the squad now. Good news.
  21. Fortunately in Scotland we don't get too annoyed with ridiculous decisions... In Scotland, nothing would be done about this pitch invasion/assault in any case.
  22. Just home on the ferry, what a weekend. Great to witness and participate in that atmosphere. Wee man loved it and sang his heart out. He'll enjoy the bragging rights when he goes back to school tomorrow. Thank you Rangers for sending us home happy
