Totally agree but as a minimum there should have been something ready regardless of which way the play-offs finished to thank the fans, etc ,etc and look forward to the future, etc etc..

It would have been preferred to have seen a decent end of season statement that thanked the fans for their support this year and for their patience as the Club seeks a new management team, confirmations that those out of contract are going and then a few holding nuggets about the exciting stuff to come and how we are as both Club and support looking forward to the challenges that next season brings as we seek to win the Championship and gain promotion to the SPFL. It doesnt take much for a decent PR person to knock something up and the silence is considered disrespectful to fans at the same time as they want our cash for ST's. At least play ball a little bit!

Turned out pretty much as expected and like dummiesout pointed out further up, he won a fair share of headers but its the quality of what happens next is whats important! Sadly the ball randomly making contact with his head is not really a header as he rarely (if ever) managed to get any direction or pace on his headers and there was never anyone available for him to nod the ball down too even if he could control the direction! So he won his fair share of headers over the two legs but did nothing with any of them and because of how we were setup and general laziness there was never anyone close enough to benefit from a decent knock down even if he managed it!

Spot on. The fans have created problems problems within our own fanbase and have some degree of responsibility for how we are currently portrayed in public and in the press as we continue to wash our dirty linen all too publicly. But I dont think we can be held responsible for the current state of the Club, our performances or the fact we will still be in the championship next season. Go into the Crown or Burns Bar or pubs in town on match day and you dont see anything but a united support and give us all a team that can play football with style, winning cups and making us proud and I think even the bickering will eventually tail off.

We have gone three seasons and had two poor league title wins that we effectively bought with some very poor football and against mainly part time teams! My minimum expectation is that we try to win everything and I'm frustrated that not only do we face another season in the championship but we still havent won that shitty ramsdens cup, or whatever its called today! When I pay money to watch my team, I expect to see us put out the best team possible and always play for a win and show some respect to the fans! Maybe this year someone in the Club will wake up and realise what our expectations are, show some passion and start earning respect. Minimum for me is win the league, win the ramsdens, good run in at least one of the other cups but most importantly demonstrate that we have a quality squad capable of meeting my simple expectations! Winning breeds confidence, win everything and once again we will be the most passionate, confident and stylish team out there

When I signed up I was watching Planes, Trains & Automobiles and was going to use a witty play on that as my username but by the time the film finished I had Planes or Trains!!! I'd had a few beers and thought just use Trains and then change it when you think of something better but as you can see it never happened! Always dodgy when people change their names anyways but now I have a boring username that means nothing unless you like trains! As for browsing the papers you find lying around, I'll happily confess that like all real men I would rather pick up the Sun to read the problem page in the feint hope that the picture story will be a lezzy one than pick up the rhecord and read the sports pages!

I get up in the morning and will have the radio on or Sky News or Sky Sports on in the background and on the train to work will browse a few news sites or listen to the radio again. Might see a few links on this forum or others to something interesting and once you have done all that, why would you nowadays pay out for any news paper? If i'm in the pub at lunchtime or a fry-up in a cafe for breakfast then i might browse whatever free paper is available but I seriously cant remember the last time I paid for a newspaper and even then it wouldnt have been the rhecord! In the information enabled world that we live in today, newspapers are irrelevant and can only ever publish yesterdays news and not todays so they have become arse-licking, agenda driven, money grabbing beasts that can only make money by feeding their own masses!

Problem is we need to be back in that shitty league as we need the money that comes with playing (and being the best) at that level in the same way they need the blue pound! I do fear the reaction though in some of the grounds during that first season as i can see it boiling over a few times.

I dont think their is much handwringing going on as at the end of the day we were humped over two legs and just when we needed some pride and effort we got what we saw on Thursday and Sunday - shite players putting in a lazy performance with no effort or passion! Too much of our frustration is being directed at the incidents at the end and the pricks involved both on the park and the motherwell fans. To be honest I dont give a fuck about either, would have preferred Mosh to have made erwin look like a prick instead of acting like one too but the moment got to him and who gives a fuck about the fans as we have seen much worse over the years from the bheasts, hertz, the sheep, at tannadice, etc, etc.. Statements from the VB are normally very direct but intelligent and with a lot of supporting detail and information to back the point they are making and they often represent my own views on most subjects and that of I believe of many others. I just feel instead of the normal proactive well thought through statement we normally see that they have reacted here before the cooling off period has ended and incidents like the fat fan with the flag was just an unfortunate incident (should have been ejected from the ground) but beyond that it was not a deliberate assault, he was trying to be a smart arse and failed! The scenes at the end should see the book thrown at motherwell and whilst Mosh will be hung out to dry by all sides our overall involvement should be minimal with minimal punishment I hope - our fans were impeccable. What I'd love to see now from VB is what they excel at and thats holding both the Club and the authorities to account with what happens next! As a Club we are still up shit creek with no plan and no sign of one on the horizon and for the SFA and SPFL, will they deal with motherwell in the same way that they would have done with us if those scenes had been at ibrox! Thats what I want to see from the VB and I am certain the next statement will hit the mark.

I recall that match really well and its funny as I had a dig at their fans celebrating yesterdays win but that second goal going in was celebrated both inside and outside the stadium in some amazing scenes!

This is where I feel most let down. The charge card against those clowns must be a good page long and I'm assuming both the SPFL and the SFA will throw the book at them but if only Mosh had turned around, crossed his arms and stood his ground and see if that little prick erwin tried to go any further! They would be getting all the shit now and Mosh would still have all the respect for being the real man and we walk away defeated but still better than those retards! As it is it seems a lot of the mhedia are blaming Mosh or at least using him instead of the lead report being about the other disgraceful scenes over the two legs! Just watching Neil McCann there on Sky Sports and didnt catch the full interview but seems to think Jig is the only one worthy of getting his contract renewed! Not sure if I caught it right but he must be on drugs if he thinks that! Did like his comment about Advocaat and that the Club needs to be seen to be taking action this morning.

I think he will always be that but now his achievements will just become just statistics and entries in our record books whilst his legacy which was up there with our top 5 legends of all time is in tatters for many and for a generation he will be remembered as the money grabbing leech that he has become. Its all very sad really

Summer should fly by with announcements almost every week or so regarding proper investment, new high profile manager, decent signings, plans for the future, board stability, major share issue, new improved commercial deals, upgrades to Ibrox, oh so much that August will be on us before we realise it!

Makes no difference for next season though.

To be honest I'd have him but not at what he would cost and the salary involved! Decent manager/scout should be finding two or three decent lads for the same money so its a no from me!
