  1. So who is standing out for you in our own team of dross?
  2. What pish! Moult is easily good enough to get a start in our current squad and would do a turn improving what we have today! I grew up in the 70's and any player showing promise up here would be instantly signed by us (or the scum) therefore robbing our rivals of talent and ensuring we had the best available and cover if required!
  3. terrible stat made worse by the scum going unbeaten for so long now! if we are to challenge then we need to be able to survive a 6 or 7 match run undefeated, narrows the gap and builds confidence.
  4. Moult will be bought in Jan for just under a million but sadly not by us!
  5. This!!! Alves is now getting that red anyway but instead of going out in a blaze of glory and giving us at least one moment of passion off he kicked out like a little girl and then had to sneak off to sort his hair again!
  6. Souness was not just tough , he was also very skillful and very intelligent and knew how to lead and when you needed to be a dirty bastard.
  7. Why is everyone complaining about teams turning up and getting a bit rough with us? This is what football in Scotland is all about and we are no different, remember big Duncan, Butcher, Souness would just go straight through players, Brown, etc and go back to the 70's and you will see even more who were just as tough! We need a combination of raw power, passion and skill to be successful up here and at the moment we have none of those.
  8. Fuck me and Alves is supposed to be a hard man! We have a bunch of poofs in our squad who are happy to take the money and have no real desire or passion for the Club. Ref was a joke today but Alves himself should have been off and probably Herrera for the push as well as at least 3 or four of the other mob. Morelos is also becoming a problem as he goes down far too easily and he isnt the only one! Scottish football has always been as basic as a sunday league match with balls lumped up the park, kick and run shite, no real skill and sliding tackles everywhere! We all know that so need a team that can perform at that level when required and also be able to hold the ball and move it around like the best in Europe as well and at the moment we cant do either!
  9. Was my first game today since moving to the US just over 2 years ago and at the time I dropped off the forums because it was all getting very heated and it's no secret I always hated King and when he finally got control I thought rather than be negative and whinge like fuck about everything he does I will refrain from commenting and live in hope that I'm wrong and he would do the business and we'd be on top of the League by now with maybe a Cup in the bag to show progress! Been a few times in the last 12 months I wanted to break my silence on the subject but again best to be positive and support the Club at every level but after today I really am totally fucked off with his antics, the broken promises abut mostly how he hasn't put his hand deep enough into his own pockets despite all the promises!! I just wish he would go and take every hanger-on, crooked sidekick, second rate continental manager and the rest of our shit board with him! Just go as we have been in a sad sorry state now for too many years and you have been a part of that problem since the beginning! Breaks my heart that after all we have been through and we still dont have the right power, unity and strength at the Club!
  10. This is where it becomes an out of control monster because other people will have got ST's beside the UB because they want to participate to the atmosphere and want to be part of that. Where do you draw the line though?
  11. Piss off as thats where our ST's are Seriously though, its fair enough that the Club have put the survey out there but if the long term ticket holders in CR dont want to move then no more should be said about it. If the Club go ahead regardless of the feedback then as a minimum the UB should be asked to compensate every person to be moved and pay for their new seats for next season. Why should any group feel they can just move into another section en masse and people who have been in that section for years should be shifted, people get attached to their own little part of Ibrox due to the memories and family history that comes with supporting Rangers. Edit. Just seen the UB statement and it was a decent well explained post that does provide decent reasoning for why the move would be a good idea and the possible advantages for all concerned. That said, if the current ST holders in that area dont want to move then that should be the end of it and I wont even get into the debate why returning boycotters should get to freely displace anyone who has provided continious support. Also, it wasnt needed to finish with this line: "I'm grateful that the new Board have embraced our ideas and bought into them, it's something we go none of from the criminals of the past." Because it just opens the door for people to point out that the boycotters get preference from DK's board for doing his dirty deed's or that you get a better deal from the current criminals! Keep that sort of sentence out of the Bears Den and in the boardroom forum where it belongs.
  12. Boycotts are costing us most of those millions! Using Kings own numbers then we are only selling 50,000 shirts but could be selling 500,000 and last year RR paid a dividend of over £800k but most of that was wiped by a charge of over £500k to buy unsold stock (due to boycotts) and one off costs for closing stores that the Club opened and mismanaged. We will not have the one off costs again and if no boycott was in place we wouldnt be buying back stock. So at a simple level using the shirt numbers mentioned by DK we get £800k+ for selling 50,000 shirts and ten times that if we are selling the 500,000 he mentioned. Thats an £8M dividend a year with no boycott and the Club actively pushing sales unless DK made a mistake about the numbers in his press conference last week. The boycott may seem like a good idea so everyone has a panto-style baddie to blame but its costing the Club millions!
  13. John Greig gained his legendary status as a player and had his ups and downs as manager but never once tarnished his status as a legend.
  14. I dont see what the problem is, all's fair in loaf and war
  15. No and its a stupid question that shouldnt be be made in jest!
  16. Nice to hear some positive stuff from the outside world as well re something we have done. Hopefully more kind words and good news to come
  17. Its fantastic stuff and hopefully the start of a new world that keeps us out of the Boardroom forum and talking in here about good football
  18. Do they still have an active forum as I remember having a look a while ago and no posts had been made in months! I assumed that they had some special detection system in place that worked out if you had a season ticket and the excluded you from seeing anything if you were in possession of one
  19. Jig was a poor captain and Wallace would be just as bad.
  20. People may have many reasons for not being able to renew with affordability, work or family issues all legitimate reasons but it doesnt make them any less a bear for wanting to renew but not being able too. Very different to those that decide to boycott the Club that they say they support and those that did are the ones i assume your referring to with the Maybe the poll should have asked if it was a no because I'm boycotting or a yes but I was boycotting previously!!
  21. Always had two and always renewed no matter how much of a shambles we looked in the boardroom and whilst I think we are more of a shambles than ever, I will still be renewing.
  22. You do realise that not all monies invested have to be immediately spent and that we can bank the money and be in a very good position financially for when we get promotion. Nothing wrong with raising the maximum possible and taking a planned proactive approach to our future rather than the reactive way we have been surviving on in the past.
  23. I dont really expect anything from him regardless of whether he is a "Rangers man" or not and believe that fans are only expecting more from DK because he is the man who set those high expectations with constant promises about what he would do if in control. Well he is in control now! Your spot on though with the fact that ultimately they are businessmen and they are in this for a return and I do expect them to commit as little as possible for maximum gain.
  24. So why doesnt he put in place his investment plans now in parallel with the season ticket sales and any excess above what he felt was required for next season can be retained for a rainy day or used in future when we get promotion. Then we really would be a Club with no debt and one of the most financially stable in Europe.
