I certainly wouldnt be surprised if some of our shareholders are fronts for other bigger players. This will come out in the wash soon as the AGM is looming and its coming time to show your hand. Not convinced that the Easdales are a front though, I think their ego's are stoked by being in their position

Try reading peoples post, aye right. To be honest I am delighted Green got his french villa, because that only happened as a by product of saving our club. Who else was ready to do so and put their money where their considerable mouths were? Green told us he was here to save the club and told us up front he was in it for the money. Well in my book he did exactly as he said, nothing more nothing less. But hey I am only a single fan amongst the thousands who wanted my club to continue.

A substatial wage cut, but some are still not satisfied? The stuff that our manager has had to deaal with and still has to is incredible, last season he had to put a team on the park with both hands tied behind his back, the fans gave him stick cause the football was shite. This season he builds a better squad and averages 5 goals a game and takes a substantial wage cut, yet still he gets slates. Would you honestly be happy if we started to act like a team in the third division of Scottish football? I know for sure that I certainly wouldnt be!

You sir are correct! The club made a statement about this when the shitstorm over the IPO money being spent was being levelled at them.

Have I missed something, the mhedia were saying last week that our manager and coaching staff have agreed a wage cut. Why are so many asking for him to take a wage cut?

I understand your thinking(I think) however the board are here to do what is right by the shareholders first and foremost. If they do that they will do right by us as a byproduct. They are appointed by the shareholders and their wages are adjusted as the shareholders see fit. As fans we can question all you want, however, this AGM will see any adjustments in remuneration for the Directors as the shareholders see fit. This includes the replacement of any directors. I do feel though that I want to get the best board we can, so that means they will need to be paid for. I am not saying they are the best we can get, but as yet I dont see anyone being put forward who is better.

The only ones I want to walk away are those who have caused all the shit storm about our accounts, who obviously didnt know what they claim to know!

Its probably the first time I can say this, but I am with you on this one!

For me this puts me off the fence and behind the current board. When you take the one off costs and costs of things like getting rid of bocanegra etc, then couple that with coaching staff agreeing to wage cuts that have been widely publicised. I dont think we are in bad shape at all, in fact we are within the 5 year plan that we were told about. In terms of directors wages and non playing staff, the shareholders at the AGM has the ability to do something about this if the wish. Well done

Im delighted to hear Barry clear this up. I like so many others believe that we should, no MUST win every game. That is what the club is about and every player needs to know that 100 percent is the minimum requirement! We find ourselves working our way back from the bottom because of a con man, a previous owner desperate to sell and our fan base who ensured we didnt just disappear. What we face every match is what a lot of teams in the top leagues up and down the country face in cup ties, the shock result. We are the team that every club wants to face for the financial benefits and the club that every opposition player wants to score against, to give them a chance of being recognised and progressing. Thats why 100% is the minimum for us and we will need to prove ourselves in every game.

Im sure I will be corrected if I am wrong. In my experience it is the people who are calling for the EGM to prove that they are shareholders and therefor entitled to call an EGM/motion of confidence. It is not up to the board to declare anything outwith AIM shareholder declarations. Mini is trying to stir it up and muddy the waters IMHO. The thing he does know is, its not his train set and he is not allowed to play with it either. That seems to stick in his craw for some reason.
