Virtually impossible (Apart from Super Ally ) for anyone to release a statement that every fan will be happy with but I suspect the majority will stand by this from the RST.

I only want what's best for Rangers, and at this moment in time, that is to go to division 1. We are more likely to be back in the SPL quicker, we would attract better players, and hopefully be back to winning trophies/championships sooner. I completely understand why a lot of fans want division 3 and I respect that. But personally I want division 1 as i believe this will be better for our club. No matter what division we are in, I will be supporting Rangers home and away. However I would by lying if I say I am pleased with this thread.

I was named after Super Ally. To be honest, I always thought it was pretty cool but after the last year or so, I have come to realise how fucking PROUD I am of this. I cannot wait for the very moment he lifts the SPL trophy aloft as Rangers manager. The Ibrox roar will be the loudest it's ever been! I don't care it it takes 3,4,7 or 10 years. I am certain there will be a lot of grown men with tears in their eyes at that moment. In Ally we trust!!

If Walter Smith and his investors did manage to buy the club, has there been any talk about who would actually be involved at boardroom level. Chairman, chief exec, directors etc?
