It was reported on Rangerschat last night that 20 fans turned up at Motherwell to vote.10 abstained,6 voted no and 4 yes but the board have decided to vote for reconstruction..

Bouncy Bear.I was the one debating the strategy and tactical formation last night.I looked at the bigger picture and what I thought was Ally's long term goals.We have all called out for a set way of playing,A formation that can be implemented right through the teams.From our youth to first team.At present it is a 4 2 3 1.If you listen to the archive of last night's show,I have gave only my opinion as I see it.The system is extremely fluid.It can change from 4-2-3-1 to 4-5-1 to 4-3-3 during a game without changing the players on the park. I have given my reasons for thinking Ally is going this way.I have also commented on the players that are currently being tipped to join the club over the summer.How they would fit into said system and how it would strengthen the all round squad at the club. As I stated it is the concept,I am putting forward.The amount of games can be adjusted just as it has with any other re-construction plan.The idea is to give more smaller clubs a chance of playing the old firm in the first half of the season.Increasing revenue for them.Secondly the form teams of both conferences playing after the break in a shorter league for the prizes on offer.It also means you face opposition in half the games that you have not played previously that season.As for Rangers and Celtic finishing 1st and second the previous year has nothing to do with it,As long as both are in the top 28 ranked clubs.What is complicated about the split? 7 go into the top league after the break and the lower 7 from both conferences join together to form the second league to play to play for the second B class championship.

This is my idea of how to generate both interest and the spreading of wealth back into Scottish Football.It is a concept. The amount of games may seem excessive but can be altered to suit. Based roughly on the NFL in America and splitting our leagues into 14-14-14. We scrap the present system Altogether.Reconstruct the 42 teams into 3 leagues.(No. league cup.) Conference .A. Conference .B Conference.C To commence in 2 seasons time.At this time the top 28 ranked clubs will be in either A or B. the C league will be part-time league consisting of the 14 lowest ranked teams. Due to Rangers and Celtic being both the wealthiest and most supported clubs,they will be placed apart.Rangers to head Conference A and Celtic in Conference.B.This will always be the case. The other 26 clubs will be allotted into each conference depending on their final finishing position in the previous year. Highest placed outside the Old Firm.Will be placed into A. second highest into B,and so on down the rankings Each Conference will play the teams in their league home and away.Total of 26 games.To be played before the winter break.At which time the top 7 from both Conferences A and B will join to form the Championship play offs. Again playing 26 games. Which will decide The all round champion of Scotland and European places. The bottom 7 of Conferences A and B. Will play for a new B class championship.Playing the same amount of games with only the bottom 4 being relegated to Conference C. Conference C will play each other 4 times a season, for a new C class championship with the top 4 being promoted to Conference A or B.depending on their final position. The benefits of this new system are that the first half of the season and the second half of the season will see new opposition for both top Leagues.Making it less boring for fans. All clubs will have something to play for through out the season. I also think the Winners of Conferences A and B could play for a Super Cup before the winter break.Home and away.Guaranteeing most years two old firm games before and after the break which would delight T,V companies and also the four Old Firm Games they so desperately want. This also opens up opportunities for sponsors of all Leagues.Scottish Football may find it hard to find enough money from one sponsor to help finance the game.A group of sponsors maybe able to raise an overall better deal.Especially with the old firm being in different leagues to start with.

Since my first day of becoming a Rangers Supporter,back in 1962,at the age of ten,when my Father took me along to my first game at Ibrox.Rangers V Tottenham Hotspur.I and many before and after, have felt a great bond between myself and this club.For over fifty years the club has had many ups and downs.The last few years has been traumatic.The mere thought that this great institution could be no more affected every single Rangers fan worldwide. Thanks to Charles Green and his cosortium,The staff at Ibrox and Rangers support, backed up by the various fan driven forums,posters and Bloggers.I still have a club to support going into my old age.I salute you all. The reason I have written this post,is to put forward a song.which to me sums up how I feel and I hope many of youselves,do also. "My Girl" is a 1964 song recorded by The Temptations for the Gordy (Motown) label which became a number one hit in 1965. Written and produced by The Miracles members Smokey Robinson and Ronald White, the song became the Temptations' first U.S. number-one single, and is today their signature song. Robinson's inspiration for writing this song was his wife, Miracles member,Claudette Rogers Robinson. I have attached the Otis Redding version(cause he is my own personel Fav.) What has this to with Rangers?Well in my humble opinion,the passion and love for something,(in this case Rangers.) is summed up in the simplistic ,but beautifully crafted words and it is a great tune.Like " Penny arcade". With the changing of two little words(My Girl) and replacing them with one(Rangers), I think this could be,added to the many wonderful songs we have in our songbook.If the people who made Penny Arcade such a success in raising money for Erskine are looking for a follow up.I think this is it.I would love to see Ami McDonald record this and all monies going to Eskine Hospital. I am a member of both, Rangersmedia and Rangerschat,and enjoy the two.The contributers on here are excellent on the use of the written word and make fine reading.Since the tims have taken over the radio in Scotland.Rangerschat has provided a platform for fellow bears to air their views.It is such a pity that people run it down.These 9.pm shows are only what the callers make it.Nobody is a professional presenter and the guys that front it at the moment are doing a spirited job.There are openings for any Bears to make either a podcast or a show of their own and have it aired.So if you fancy being a presenter of your own show. Ive listened from the start to Rangerschat.The progress they 2 Guys have made in a short time is brilliant.A lot of Bears put in a lot of time assisting the running of the site.Like any fan based media, it is the posters or callers who make or break it.They're plenty of good posters on here who could make a worthwhile contribution and would be welcome.I'm sure.Any voice for Rangers is O.K. by me.They're enough of them against us.

Motherwell have been praised by the press for their special deals for fans to try and get fans to their club.We should do the same.How about a buy a ticket and a friend or child get in free on the basis they buy a programme,with a voucher on the back for entry.They should make the programme a tribute to the 72 Cup winners Cup Team.Charge £5.00 for it.
