We can’t overhaul the whole squad in one window...

Lost count of the number of times we've needed " A Complete Overhaul ™ ", but it never happens.

The hardest part will be letting go enough of those who don't contribute enough or at all.

Like the sound of him. Not sure it’s an area that we need a big focus on though.

He's probably better than those options, but there are so many more glaring demands on our limited budget.

That said, if Barcelona are still a financial basket-case, willing to pay his wages for the year and give us a set price...welcome Pablo!

I wonder if the players ever view these forums - must shatter their confidence lol

Not a chance, I'd bet that training and playing is the limit of interest in football for most of them.

As for Kent, repeatedly convincing himself that he's going start from the halfway line, run straight at that 17 man defence and beat them all with pace and blind faith, all before setting up an easy finish for a lethal striker...then remembering who and where he is...might be more of a confidence drain.

Clancy is a cheating bastard and we have to call it out.

Assuming that you mean club employees loudly and publicly calling out referees, it's not going to happen. Beale's take on the Morelos goal was the strongest for a while, and even that was done almost apologetically.

We lost this battle a long time ago and without a fight.

? I’m saying it’s understandable why Beale might choose to play him for last 60 rather than first 60. Last few games the match has totally bypassed him at the start. So why not finish the game with him on the field for once where he might be more effective

Completely reasonable to want him as fresh as possible when they have tired themselves out and are allowing us more possession, but just the prospect of MB making a sub after half an hour, assuming we have seen off that intense start, isn't very likely. And there's the fact that he's the one player likely to take a shot, let alone put it on target.

Giving him that free-role behind Kent and another, finding space to get on the ball and without the defensive responsibilities that he's not so good at, feels sensible.

See what kent did to play in moreloa for the goal, thats why all his detractors are fucking annoyed at him, he can do that time and time and time again but for some reason he doesn't

Why does he run at a crowd of players like that but in the first half when he's 1v1 against a defender with space to go into he shites it

    Absolutely infuriating player

The good stuff is an outlier, the fearful, brainless rubbish is unfortunately more the norm.
