    “A collective decision”

I’m sorry but what does that even mean.

Think it means he gets a seat at the table where the board collectively discuss the need to build a squad around his 4-3-3 philosophy, collectively listen to his need for quality wingers with pace, guile and end-product, collectively tell him he can have Kent, Wright, Matondo and Sakala, collectively decide that Gio is happy with the summer recruitment.

Goalkeeper. Tav, Goldson, Souttar, Barasic.  Lawrence, Lundstram, Sands,  Kent, Colac, Sakala.

The midfield looks better for energy and effort alone, but after that I'm not very confident about winning a league with that side.

I keep hearing this same story, but seriously how many players do we expect to have back after the WC?...

Indeed. We're just as likely to lose as many as come back given the seeming inability to get players beyond a very basic level of fitness.

A month on the training ground with the manager might bore a few more into hamstring strains.

Really hope I’m proved wrong but our midfield just isn’t anywhere good enough.

If Jack, Laundstram, Lawrence and Kamara were all fit and available it would be a completely different story.

We'll be lucky to be in the same postcode as their midfield, let alone close them down.

Escape without history-making embarrassment, call the clusterfuck over.

Losing out on the Champions League money while gifting them a free handout of £20m-£30m will cost us more.

Nevermind the damage to our reputation as a football team. Who the fuck is going to come and play for that coaching staff? Who’s attracted by that style of play?

Unfortunately I am 99% certain that Board won’t sack him until it’s double figures the scum are out of sight.

Add to that those players out of contract who are already planning their escape if he stays.

They've been culpable too, but asking them to sign a new contract to turn up and be bored stupid at their work for another three years is optimistic.

He'a not a Rangers fan though. He's just a former player...

Players and managers don't see it the same way as fans. It's just a job to them...

Taking a job in China as a young manager should have been a warning...

He definitely gives the impression that failure doesn't hurt him as much, probably a healthy way to live when you've enough money for five lifetimes.

Players have been terrible but they just do not look like they know what the fuck they're supposed to be doing.

Pass it around, point at each other and hope something happens.

They have to be as bored as the rest of us, zoned out ot listening to whatever is being asked of them at training.

Doesn't excuse the chronic lack of quality in doing anything, but it can't be fun.

Seems about £22m before gates & prize money for points.

Sounds like the basic payout is based on a 10 year coefficient.

Beggars will get more on that basis, (high £20m’s perhaps) but I gather it would have a good bit more if we hadn’t got through.

Shows how much of a closed shop it's getting to be.

For them to have serially embarrassed themselves and Scottish football in Europe for so long, but still get rewarded for it, thanks to Rangers carrying the coefficient alone.
