Barisic is putting in some decent balls
The only one doing it too, while obviously having been told not to get too far forward. Quite funny seeing his captain moaning at him while being absolutely atrocious himself.
But anyway, fucksakeBornasidewaysslowinitdoon.

5-0 now.
Making it look so easy.
We were playing the same sport on Tuesday night, apparently.

No doubt we'll get some fans complaining that they just want to go to the games but we can't allow clubs to take the piss out of us.
Yet they've done so for years, despite the best efforts of Stewart "we won't be found wanting" Robertson.
They'll fill the midden anyway, because Rangers are playing. A nice change that Rangers fans won't be the ones funding them (in theory).

Players on holiday, plenty coming back from long-term injury, trying to plan for a squad before a Champions League qualifier - fully expecting Souttar to be the only new starter for that first game.
It's a lovely idea that we get our business done early, but imagining we get to the last days of the transfer window, having resigned every player with a year left on his contract and therefore able to tell English clubs 'no'...unlikely?

Nice one, well deserved.

Like this player Goldson keeps passing too...not put a foot wrong yet.

Would actually take Itten on at the moment.
At least he has some vague memory of what he's supposed to try to do up there, more likely to last 75 minutes too.

Bar that goal Ojo was terrible for us.
Shivers at the memories...an indictment of how far pace can hide so many basic failings.

Felt sorry for Sakala but he is an utterly dreadful footballer. I don’t think he got taken off just to let Ramsey take a penalty.
I have to think he wasn't trusted or didn't want to take a penalty, still feel sorry for him for the effort he brings every time.
He is also an utterly dreadful footballer.

At least a dozen outgoings...
We suggest this every summer without a league win. As much as it feels like it should happen now, it rarely does. And our record of buying/loaning quantity over quality of late isn't encouraging.

Mate I read your previous post and the reply to it. Don't worry about preparation for the final. Gio will put out what ever team he thinks will benefit us most next week in this dead rubber tomorrow. We still need momentum so not everyone should be rested.
You're right, of course. GvB has managed playing time beautifully the last few games, and there's as much risk in changing the routines they've all got so used to.
I just want us to give ourselves the best shot at this, don't want some wound-up wee prick playing to the crowd and copying those tackles/assaults from midweek.

Which ones?
All three who came off at half time, and McClelland, who I've just learned is leaving...maybe it really is joined-up planning and I'm just a good way along the nervous/hysterical path to Wednesday!
-
Roofe for ten minutes, and absolutely nobody else with the slightest chance of being needed for Wednesday.
- BlueAvenger and kanjo

Quite a few names I thought might be playing tomorrow.
Guess it's another 45/60/90 minutes of praying nobody with a remote chance of playing on Wednesday gets injured.

The specky hotdog earns over £300k a year for this shit.
Ahhhhhh.....THIS is what he meant by, "we won't be found wanting".
After so many times being bent over by Scottish football, it's almost impressive how he finds dismissive contempt for Rangers fans.

Too late to register Makaay as a player?
-
We're going to be the last team on Earth to make it easy for a referee to ignore assaults on players.
Sickening to think Watson gets away with that without retribution.

A thing of beauty

Any cunt want a bacon and tomato toasted sandwich? I’m away to make breakfast.
Can I watch the bread toast? What kind of toaster is it? Do you set it to 3 or 4?

It comes down again to what type of team is Gio wanting us to be.
I don't see any particular clear style of play.
It has to be from him...no idea what he's seeing that looks like progress. And the players don't look like they're having fun.

We're just a fluent, chance-making machine again...

Bassey is baws. RM’s hype train is derailed the last few games.
Looked like he was having some kind of episode there, deciding exactly how he was going to give the ball away. Again.

I'd rather they would just launch it for touch, rugby style. We're guaranteed to lose possession fannying about at the back anyway so at least make them take a throw in deep in their own half and try to push up than chip it straight to them 40 yards from our own goal like we usually do.
Playing for territory would be less embarrassing than whatever this shit is.

Nice one.
A team that can play shit and get results in Europe, progress!
