  1. I posted this earlier on Bill McMurdo's Webblog. This from a 4 year old who has been a season ticket holder for the last 3 years . Rangers rubbish! Not my words as I have blinkers on and my heart rules my head on all things Rangers and can’t look on things constructively. Mccoist stood shoulder to shoulder with us in our darkest hour and I will never forget that. The words are from my 4 year old grandson who can clearly see things better than me. 3 out of 4 grandsons don’t want to go to the semi final as the 4 year old says Rangers rubbish. Its about time we listened to them as they are our future and not like me who is a dinosaur with blinkers on. I have brought them up to love and support Rangers but this rubbish is driving them away.
  2. You must be at the corner of London Road and Landressy Street then. They haven't left the flag behind have they.
  3. Recognize it got married across the road from it forty years ago on the 10th of July as the establishment had a prior engagement on the 12th.
  4. Across from the John Greig statue they sell back numbers from recent games for £4.50 each. Had to get a couple at the end of last year.
  5. Sorry Martin wasn't you I was referring to. I included you in the post as you were wondering how the ones on E-Bay compared with the genuine ones and added the photo. I appreciate your support of my rights to wear my Rangers scarf of choice. Some may think it has run its course but at present I am not of that opinion. As you see I am loyal to my scarfs the DJ one for example 42 years until I retired it at the start of our present troubles and introduced the red and black scarf. I may feel differently when we are back in our rightful place at the top but until then.
  6. Martin Here is the scarf along side some of my other scarfs as attached. As for not classing it as a Rangers scarf I think they were selling it in the Rangers store but as they were sold out I was advised that I could purchase one in the enclosure concourse at half time. So it was sold on Rangers premises with Rangers approval. I wear it to remind me of our lowest ebb and who put us there. If others have a problem they are entitled to their view. However the tide has turned in our favour and we are now in fast flow. My old scarf reminds me of a previous low when the Mankies were going through their 9 as it was purchased on the day a 16 year old DJ came on and put the ball in the back of the net. That scarf had been in the wars seeing good and bad times until I retired it and the red and black one has taken over the reigns. My youngest daughter took possession of it in the mid/late nineties until I had to rescue it as she got hold of a mankies scarf that was winding her up and boiled all the colours out it in a electric kettle. (Our colours don't run.) The one previous to that ended up in Canada on some ones wall as their granny forgot to get him the one thing he requested on her return. Moaning about my scarf. What about my purple goalie top as signed by the goalie for 2 of my grandsons who were on the Elite goalkeeping course and with one on trials for the Rangers Pro-Youth Team.

  8. Try the Lodge. The Egg doesn't cater for us any-more. Bridgeton /Glasgow Green Man myself. One of my grandsons teams plays there on a Saturday and asked if I knew where it was. Only too well. Had PE there every week 2 or 3 laps around it before we kicked a ball.
  9. Believe me it is. But it serves as a reminder to those that tried to destroy us that they have failed.
  10. NO! Lest we forget. (no disrespect to the Poppy with this quote.) It is a reminder of how we have been treated over the last 2 years. Wore it on Saturday along with a traditional Red,White and Blue scarf along with a We don't do walking away T shirt.People have short memories but I can never forgive or forget. It replaces my DJ scarf which was bought on the morning of the day we won the league cup in 1970 which I retired and have left it to my youngest grandson. Think it will last my lifetime and hope it sees the same success as the DJ one. In the dark days when I bought it I prayed that I would still have a team to support. It it a reminder to those that attempted to destroy us that WE ARE STILL STANDING. You gave it your best shot and failed.
  11. No give them the usual corner. Don't want them contaminating my 3 seats in the Broomie. Let them have a beam back.
  12. Why? We are the only victims of a crime that I know of that have been punished. Guilty until proven innocent all in the name of sporting integrity. Pity to see that they are not making the same mistake with the mankies and punishing them for state aid until all the facts are established. Their time will come. Like you say on your post id OUR ONLY CRIME IS LOYALTY
  13. Beat me to it. THE FIRM,RFC WATP Est. 1872. Sorted just so there is no confusion with the lurkers.
  14. Hollow victory. Who is kidding who. This is a reminder to CPL that they failed in their mission to destroy us and keep us down. We are on our way to our rightful position back at the top of the heap with heads held high without state aid or tainted titles. If there is any justice we will pass them on their way down after all their corruption is dealt with.
  15. The only show in town. By the way where were they touring this weekend I know they weren't playing in GREAT Britain. Japan or somewhere must be a bit expensive touring with footballs answer to the Harlem Globe Trotters.
  16. Auchenhowie generates its own income so can't be classed as a White Elephant. As we know it has the best facilities in Scotland. I can vouch for the youth elite coaching sessions there as I had 2 of my grand sons on the Goalkeeping courses there all of last year. At the end of the course assessment one of them was identified by the coach as having the potential of going onto the Pro Youth Team in a year if he continued to progressed but didn't think he was ready yet. At the Barrhead youth tournament the Rangers scout invited him to join the Pro-Youth team which he accepted. from the offset I was not happy with the coaching as it was more like a warm up and persuaded him to continue with the Elite Coaching Course as it was far superior. 3 months into the team his dreams were dashed when he was released. Yes Auchenhowie has excellent facilities is self financing has excellent elite coaches but when they reach the pro youth team they think they have made the grade and take their foot off the gas. If this attitude is reflected through the coaching staff up to the big team its no wonder they are under achieving and should get back to grass roots and train on the Elite Coaching Courses.
  17. Can they delay it until after Dunfermline on 15th as I am buying additional tickets for grandsons's pals as there are seats that have become available nearby. Surely no one was taking this attempted Tango seriously.
  18. My grandson Just turned 4 has one of the season tickets which he shares with his brothers for the last 2 years. The family section is fine with Broxi bear as long as he has plenty patience as it starts at 1.30 and he heads off to the pitch for 2.30. Plenty other things going on face painting, colouring in, disco, beat the goalie, sometimes players signing autographs. ETC. Its coming into the better weather now so he should enjoy it more as with the performances it hasn't been enjoyable to sit through the winter month even for a adult. When we can't be caught the celebrations will continue after the game. Enjoy.
  19. Helicopter Sunday give you a clue. Was at Ibrox with the grand kids to see them coming back from Kilmarnock.
  20. Just arrived the Rangers Mark Penny with RSEA 2011 and 2013 Badges along with the Barsa 1972 and 3rd division winners medals supplied by govanblue.
  21. Cast your bread upon the waters. I have had to do that this season more times than I care to mention due to work commitments and one of my grandsons on trial with Rangers Pro youth team which play on a Saturday afternoon at Murray Park. The result is a few new young teddy bears with parent taking season tickets for next year.
  22. Waiting for mine to arrive today will let you know. Photo below. Website http://www.rsea.org.uk/shop.html I tried Govan Blue to get the RSEA2013 badge after I failed to get it as Spirit of seventy two stopped supplying them this year and sellers around the stadium can't get a hold of them as it is from official suppliers only. Govan Blue's Barcelona and Division 3 Winners medals are excellent and I would recommend them if still available.
  23. Just ordered one yesterday from Erskine Appeal along with RSEA 2011 and Rangers Mark Penny Delivered to Scotland was £14 Donation. They have a few penny's left if you ask as they are sold out on their website.Contact Details are£14 --------> www.justgiving.com/erskinepark Then email me a name and address to post to Many thanks Tom "Tom" <tjclark2469@aol.com>
  24. Most of the time it was fists and feet. At that time in Bridgeton the plain cloths police went around in a transit bus and conducted stop and search if there were any more than 2 of you. If asked if they had a warrant you were invited to come with them to Tobago Street and they would get one and find something on you. Having said that its not the first time I have had a knife at my throat at Bridgeton Cross. Yes it was King Kai's Pub at the corner of Govan Road and Stag Street on the way to the ferry.
  25. More than 1.2 million Rangers fans. To the lurkers on here read it and weep. We still don't do walking away.
