  1. Totally agree with the facilities but one of my grandsons has just been dropped by the Pro Youth Team after 3 months trials and was totally devastated. Only ten years old and anything else would be second best. So better signing for another club and climbing the ladder.
  2. Used the Govan ferry myself in the sixties. Few pints in the Mermaid or the Windsor Bridgeton at opening time then then onto the Park Bar Argyle Street to meet up with the boys then off to the ferry at 2.30 for the game then return after it. Surprised that there was anyone getting chased after the ferry with the amount of Bears about. I was unaware that the Finniston tunnel didn't close until 1980 as my mother used to take me through it in the fifties to get the trolley bus back to Bridgeton but I stand corrected. Further up there was the Kingston ferry which ran from beside the Kingston Halls to near Betty's Bar in the Broomielaw. From Hampden to Bridgeton then it was usually over Polmadie Road and over the footbridge in the Glasgow Green. not usually much trouble on it just a few skirmishes (safety in numbers) until we reach the football pitches then it would be a free for all for those wanting a fight.
  3. Well we weren't playing at home either or we would have included the whole cpl with them in it. As for attendances 2.7% up how can that be when they have lost 50% of their fan base.As I have said before we have ONE TEAM,ONE STADIUM AND ONE TRAINING GROUND to look after with the biggest support in the land. How can they maintain their league with 12 teams, 12 stadiums and training grounds to fund. I think there are a few more teams on co-op loans. The future is bright its Red Blue and White.
  4. I'd be more concerned if they were tainted!
  5. The problem is that a lot of Bluenoses rely on the MSM for all their information regarding the club and with all this misinformation and no rebuttal from the club they take it as gospel. Time and again I have been told by them that we are guilty and have to take our punishment. Tying to explain that we are guilty of nothing and we are where we are due to a conman , corrupt manky led sfa and manky controlled MSM falls on deaf ears as it is not in the papers. Even on Monday night when watching the Chelsea MC game I tried to explain to my son in law how his Co-op bank account was used to subsidise the manky mob he didn't believe my and that it was mischievous making be both teams tit for tat. He is a Sun reader as you can't believe the DR. When will they ever learn. The sooner we get a foothold in the MSM the better. As I don't read the MSM or listen to snyed i have to glean my information from there web sites so thank those who do so on our behalf and keep us informed.
  6. Don't know if I took it the wrong way. It was just you coming in with a post about the possible transfer of Lee Wallace quoting from a anti Rangers newspaper after only posting about 20 times in the last 16 months. This at a time when they are trying to deflect everything that is being thrown at them. Don't know about down south but up here in the bias MSM there is a huge cover up. At the end of the day I am glad you are wrong and I am off to watch Lee Wallace now along with 2 of my grand kids. We don't do walking away. In fact I think I'll wear that T Shirt today in respect to him.
  7. Thinking that myself. Low post count negative posts about us quoting an anti Rangers paper just as the momentum is in our favour, comes up with this and after 16 months doubles his post count in 2 days. I smell a rat.
  8. If you don't know. You should be concerned. Bluenoses are born, not manufactured. We do not choose, we are chosen. Those that don't understand don't matter. Those who understand need no explanation! WE ARE THE PEOPLE Sorted.
  9. Or the SNP don't want anyone to rock the boat and damage their flagship event at the pedodome.
  10. Well done D'Artagnan It is important that we (You and PZJ ) manage to get the word out there as the MSM are as you know totally giving it a body swerve. I am disappointed that the good work that you and PZJ is going unnoticed by the majority of bears that only have access to the MSM. I have been highlighting the misdemeanour's of the other lot to a lot of bears over the last week or so but I feel apathy as they don't believe me even when I produce your and PZJ's articles on my tablet. As late as last Friday the reply was you are talking S**te, Don't believe the R****D its F****n Scum but its not in the Sun so it can't be true. If fellow bears don't believe us what chance have we got. Was disappointed with a bear on Bill McMurdo'S blog today claiming we were guilty and we should just get on with it and take our punishment. Fortunately bill and others have address the situation but it is obvious that the bears that get their information from the MSM are unaware of what is going on.Looking forward to your blog today.
  11. Bit concerned about low posters wanting to be put in touch with PZJ as GCC have been trying to identify him for the last two months. So be wary not to divulge any details.
  12. Correction Auchenhowie artificial pitches are top of the range brand new 4G I think. They were relayed in October/November it took 6 weeks. They don't normally train on them as they are in the pro youth and academy section although available if required. Never bothered to ask my grandson if they were any better.
  13. Its obvious from the reply's that a lot are unaware that Murray Park generates its own income. At present 5.15 to 6.45 there will be between 150 and 200 6 to 12 year olds being trained in the elite coaching courses. At 7.30 there is advanced training courses for the over 12's. There will have been football matches football matches on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. and various coaching options for other teams to come in and experience the training and coaching facilities with a couple of games against Rangers pro-youth teams to finish off. I am not saying it generated enough money to be self sufficient but it is a asset and not a liability. You might say what does he know about it. Well I have been taking 2 of my grandchildren there to the Elite goalkeeping course for the last year. One of them was selected for trials with the Pro-Youth Team in August ant they played their matches and trained on a Saturday and 2 nights during the week when other coaching sessions were going on.
  14. PZJ has been relentless in his pursuit of information under FOI with GCC since last April/May and it is with him and other like minded that we are where we are today. Our problem is that I am the same as you. Its about time we stopped thinking and started doing. As I said in my OP what we need is for the administrators to set up a draft Email page with email addresses to allow us to bombard the relevant authority's. At present the GCC have put every obstacle in PZJ's was with his requests under FOI. and are now trying to identify him. I wonder why?
  15. Totally agree with jimster2010 but what are we going to do about it. Can the moderators set up a post for draft letters and email addresses to allow us to flood the the governing bodies of the organisations responsible for feeding the mis-information and lies about us. I know that people like D'Artagnan and PZJ on McMurdo's website are doing sterling work on our behalf and feel guilty that I don't do anything to assist them. While they are relentless in their pursuit of the truth I feel that they maybe are perceived to be lone voices in the wilderness and ignored in the hope that they go away. As a lot of the infighting has gone after the AGM it's about time we showed a united front and confronted our enemies head on and get behind those who are fighting our corner. If we as a support complain en-mass to the governing bodies it must get a better response than the lone voices. The momentum is there lets all help take it over the line.
  16. More faith in the system now it has gone out-with Scotland and don't think they will have as much influence in Brussels. If justice is done they will be lucky to end up in division 2 and hoping to get back up the leagues to stop us going for 10 in a row. If they don't like it they can always go home.
  17. If you go onto Bill McMurdo's Website the evidence here have been painstaking extracted from GCC under freedom of information in dribs and drabs with miss information and contradictions at every turn and it is only now that they gaining enough information to make a case and it has been presented to MP's and questions have been logged in parliament.Just clicked on one of the links and it says they are looking into clubs from other countries but doesn't say which. does anyone know if anyone has sent the evidence of the mhanky mob to the commission From the same source I believe the commission are well aware of this but are pursuing bigger fish at present but their turn will come.
  18. Hi GB! Can you get me one of each I will be at the game on the 11th. Also looking for Erskine Poppy appeal pin badge for 2013 if available. Happy New Year to you and all bears. See you on 11th.
  19. Please accept my apology Christchurch Rangers I was going to say why are we bothering to reply to someone who couldn't be bothered to attend but seeing your location I'll let you off. I'd put it at about 40,000 on what was a cold, wet, and miserable day and with limited public transport options. My 2 older grandchildren (one just released from Rangers Pro Youth under 11s team so I think he spat the dummy.) weren't interested and weather to bad for youngest so it was middle one and his pal. They did well to last until the 87th minute as they were cold and bored with the performance on the field.
  20. Voted no . But if the truth be told it should have been yes. Yet I have no desire to return. Its like a reformed smoker gasping for a fag. I have continually refused to take my grand kids (ST Holders) to those games. Relented for the under 20ies Glasgow Cup Final. Watching them burn our seats in the Broomloan from the Copland road. Never again.
  21. After all the dirty tricks coming from Porkhead over the last few years can anyone vouch for them? After all we are the only show in town and they will still have the scarf's they acquired for Halloween. All things are fair in love and board room wars and should only be carried out behind closed doors unless we have been infiltrated by our enemies who have been out to destroy us for the last few years. No true Rangers Supporter would do anything to harm Rangers So again I would ask SONS OF STRUTH ARE THEY THE GREEN SEAT BRIGADE IN DISGUISE?
  22. Looking forward to tonight and Saturday myself. Due to work commitments and daughter moving house I have missed the last 5 home games with my grand kids. Disappointed at missing the games but tickets went to good use as we now have another 2 young teddy bears on board one of which we will be meeting up with on Saturday. Enjoy the game.
  23. It wasn't when I was writing my post as I checked first. As they will be interrupting my night following our team I think it is appropriate to have it in the BD where the majority of the Bears going to the game tonight will see it.
  24. Don't know how to put on the link but it is from the Evening times. Celtic set for warm-weather break Rangers are one result from making history Gers fans threaten Ibrox merchandise boycott in new bid to oust Board DISGRUNTLED Rangers fans have threatened to BOYCOTT the Ibrox club unless the entire board is booted out at the AGM on December 19. Matthew LindsaySports Journalist Tuesday 03/12/2013 Loading Comments Share Print Disgruntled fans aim to choke off the cash supply to the Sports Direct backed Rangers shops Gers protest group the Sons of Struth has emailed all of the Glasgow club's major shareholders ahead of the meeting later this month. They have warned they will stop buying Rangers merchandise and season tickets if the current directors are re-elected. And they have upped the ante by contacting Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley, left, who owns the rights to sell Rangers merchandise through his Sports Direct chain. The email read: "We are your customers. If after the AGM any of the current board are still in place then we could as customers stop buying season tickets, match day hospitality, club merchandise, match day catering and match day magazines. "We as supporters are not happy with the corporate governance, business acumen or trustworthiness of the current board. "As a group, we have gained support from many fans and fans' bodies and carried out numerous protests over the previous months. "We shall continue with our protest up to the AGM. We urge you to vote in accordance with our wishes and not re-elect any of the current board." The AGM promises to be an explosive affair with four members of the rebel group backed by wealthy business-man Jim McColl seeking election. Scott Murdoch, Malcolm Murray, Paul Murray and Alex Wilson are looking to seize control of their boyhood heroes later this month. It is unclear at this stage which group - the current board or the requsitioners - has enough backing to win the power struggle currently being waged. However, the threat to boycott the club could sway undecided shareholders. Despite raising £22million in a public share offering last December, Rangers are facing serious financial problems. Financial director Brian Stockbridge has admitted the club will be left with just £1 million in the bank by April. And funds are set to run out altogether midway through next season unless fresh investment is found. Meanwhile, The Sons of Struth will stage a protest before the SPFL League One match with Forfar Athletic at Ibrox tonight. Supporters will march on the front door before calling for the removal of Stockbridge and controversial club media advisor Jack Irvine. GET RANGERS NEWS ALERTS BY EMAIL
