Loyal-Bear reacted to Jimfanciesthedude in Charlie Telfer to Dundee United?
one question, how do they earn that right to play when the manager will not give them first team appearances in meaningless games
the last 2 seasons have been pretty much meaningless league games, the title was already decided, yet in that time only 4 young boys have arguably came into the first team
Macleod was a star last season, miles ahead of ian black, guess which one got moved to accomodate nicky law
Aird showed massive potential and raw energy last season, guess who was dropped for peralta
McKay showed real promise, rumoured to have a mentality issue, guess who was fucked out on loan to a club that couldnt give a flying fuck about his development and only wanted players on the cheap to try and stay up
Crawford, used every so often, never given time to build some consistency
I agree with you that anyone needs to earn the right to play in the first team, but surely to fuck our young guys battling for the u20's league and cup deserved something over the half arsed players in the first team who went into holiday mode after christmas

Good move for the lad, if true.
When the club won league with 7 games to go these youngsters myst've thought they'd get a few 90 minutes for the first team.
Sadly Ally put an unbeaten campaign which no-one will care about in years to come before the development of our youngsters.

Too busy trying to sign past it players like Craig Gordon, Kenny Miller & Kris Boyd.
What a shower of shite our management team is.

If this happens it shows how backward our club is going! No scouting and letting our decent youths leave to join that mob. You may have to think to yourself at least the boy knows he will probably get a game there while we stick with "experienced" plodders with no guile or imagination!

He needs to get out, he's not got a clue honestly.
We are a fucking joke these days

Loyal-Bear reacted to scarkev in Ally Has To Resign
If he trully loves the club and not just what he gets out of it he has to resign with a bit of dignity at the end of the season....today was just the tipping point, the reality is we have been awful for 2 years!

McCoist single handedly keeps the fans away or in the boozer
I honestly don't blame anyone that doesn't go and watch this mess

He's clueless don't care what anyone said
Said it from day one
Getting lucky and sneaking past Albion Rovers just papers over the cracks
You know what? He will get lucky AGAIN as the people who fail to renew watching his shite he carves up will get lumped in with the Dave King group who are anti board thus wrapping Ally in cotton wool again
The op is right
Ally out

For the sake of the club he supposedly loves, aye, he should walk.

Supported Ally all the way but even if we win this I have now seen enough and I fear for our future on the park.
One up front
11 back at corners
No confidence to run by players except Wallace and Templeton
We need something new. Thanks Ally you have carried us through the worst times imaginable but enough is enough.

Loyal-Bear reacted to The Godfather in Question for the fans holding this club back, i.e the fans still backing Mccoist
If he wasn't a former player and club legend he'd have been sacked ages ago

Loyal-Bear reacted to THE_Ibrox_Preacher in Minutes applause for Mandela
For me the Mandela applause was much like the card protest,...a lot of people joining in while knowing very little about the reality of the subject in hand. Going along with those that sat near them balancing "their" opinion based upon by who seemed most aggressive and who was in the majority.
Our supports beliefs, core values and opinions appear in mass to be as logical and as informed as an "x-factor audience".
If I'm right in what I say then I fear we're going in 'one-direction', a country full of simpletons merely concerned with popular opinion and without the ability nor desire to think freely, about what's right/important.
I personally abstained from the Mandela applause as I do not see the relevance of it at a Scottish football match when a minutes silence cannot be held for the war dead of this country and others at all our grounds. I personally know little about Mandela other than the popular movie type reading of history we are spoon fed about the man - I have noticed even his extended family is insanely rich now while his country is still a mess. He may or may not be worthy of my respect and I freely admit I'm ignorant on the specifics of his life but I think to applaud the man without the knowledge required to justify the action is stupidity of the highest order and often leads to people becoming 'icons of righteousness' whom are not worthy of that tag.

Loyal-Bear reacted to boss in Accounts out this morning
Basically much as expected, we are not going bust by Christmas, more detail provided than ever before, doommongers were talking nonsense, and looks like we are on course to break even this year.
More later...
