  1. There aren't many left backs who'll score regularly.
  2. Jorg Albertz driving out of Ibrox after a game got out of his car and signed a few things, chatted away and off he went. Could've just kept driving. My brother met Kris Boyd and said he was winding Boyd up. Boyd had a wee joke with him, bought him two double vodka and red bulls, my brother refused them because he's an ungrateful little shit and Boyd shrugged his shoulders and sunk the two of them.
  3. When I went to hospitality Alan McLaren was being a cheeky, dour character. I certainly wouldn't be saying that's what he's always like though.
  4. I went through the official channels with HSV to ensure tickets v Bayern. Was about 260 euros for the ticket, hotel, 20 euros to spend in the club shop and a stadium tour(which we never made because it was 9.15am on the Sunday and we'd had a 'disturbed' sleep. I'm hoping to go back in the near future so if tickets can be secured on their own then I'd be very interested.
  5. I dont think Hart was demanding he got shares because he was owed money by the oldco. It seems like a goodwill gesture by board members as we were paying footballing debts and the likes. He could have refused them I suppose but he didnt. Painting him as a pal of Green's seems to be inaccurate, he was involved way before Green.
  6. I remember something along those lines aswell. Was it not the case that Hart voted in favour of Green returning as a consultant, Smith expected Hart to vote along with him but he didn't and Smith resigned soon after?
  7. I think everyone is a on edge about who is in what camp, myself included, but there's a danger of writing off some really good people that could be useful and also someone who deserves his say and his legendary status at the club.. We need this to end to keep us all sane.
  8. Did he not say he felt the board was running smoothly but the people who wanted change were causing the turmoil? Doesn't seem like something a plant for the McColl and Murray group would say. He also mentions that Mather is doing a good job.
  9. Well I commend you for buying a season ticket and see why you'd be angry and whether we agree with the decision, it was always likely, but had to be dependant on the number of call ups to the international sides, which were only announced today. I hope you can make another game to compensate.
  10. I have sympathy for you, I don't want to hear of anyone lose money in trying to support Rangers. However, it seems like you will be quite unique in that you live a several hours travel away and find it difficult to get time off work and have already booked your travel to the game. I don't believe any of that is the club's fault. In your position I'd be annoyed and angry but much of that would be at myself for not checking that there was potential for this game to be called off. If the game was cancelled 2 weeks ago because the Ramsden's Cup took precedence, would that still have meant you lost money?
  11. I feel for fans who'll lose out on money and have wasted time off work for this but a wee quick look at the international football calendar and the fact the game may not have been played because of the Ramsden's Cup semi final would have given you some inclination this game was never certain for the 12 October. You can't ask the manager, the board, the SFA etc to have some foresight when you've not had much yourself. Harsh but true.
  12. "Expecting a story about Brian Stockbridge to come out today and if true could be a game changer. Stayed tune i'm away digging #rangers #rangers family" This was on The Sons of Struth's Facebook page this morning. Disclaimer: By posting, I do not give credence to this statement.
  13. Loved how Fergie handled that one. Top class.
  14. There's a few rumours behind his departure. Ancelotti didn't even know he was going so it wasn't his decision. He apparently had a few disagreements with the Chief Executive and that was the real reason.
  15. Agreed, someone's forcing this issue. There's more politics going on here than with the independence referendum.
  16. As much as I like the sound of this, it smacks of 'wealth off the scale'.
  17. Scotland U-21s play Thursday 10 October and then the following midweek away. Scotland senior play on Tuesday 15 October only at home so Wallace is certainly available. Northern Ireland play on Saturday 12 October so that could rule out Shiels and Little. Not checked Honduras' fixtures.
  18. We can only make an assessment on what's went on previously and the information we have and both suggest Rangers will ask to have no game that weekend.
  19. Gutted for you mate and myself. Thought the 5.30pm kick off would've been a nice wee change. Chance to hit the pubs from 12 onwards.
  20. The semi final is due to be played on the weekend of 12/13 October and we have a televised game on 12 October at 17.30 v Dunfermline. I was hoping for an all day session heading up to it. Anyone idea what's going to happen?
  21. Stays down Inverkip way I believe. My brother sees him regularly. Some relation with his missus and my brothers missus, might even be a family friend type thing. Sounds like a good guy.
  22. He is a prick, he once celebrated a goal for Morton by wiping his sweaty hands on my face. I was about 10.
