  1. His uncle is a local police officer. He'll sort it.
  2. My hero growing up, still love him. Seeing a young Rangers fan come through and get into that wonderful Advocaat team is something I look back on fondly.
  3. Even thought McCall is on a short term contract. Some rumours are just ridiculous.
  4. You think McCall has told Boyd he won't play for Rangers again with several games left to play? No chance.
  5. It's got nothing to do with the timing of us returning to the Premiership, the three players were asked by the Scottish Media who were looking to make a headline out of a boring international friendly. All 3 players were asked in the lead up to the Scotland v Northern Ireland game and responded exactly as I'd expect them to, that they would like to return at some stage i.e. when they don't have a better offer elsewhere.
  6. Oh yes, very much looking forward to it. Out all day before. Hopefully see an Anderson win.
  7. When his reign was almost over he just totally gave up. I would worry about his stomach for a relegation battle. Brilliant manager for us overall though, we were spoiled then right enough.
  8. I remember someone complaining to me that 'We Are The People' is us trying to say we are better than everyone else. That's what a football chant is supposed to do!
  9. When Durie was promoted I had a suspicion that we may start selling and we'd be looking at him providing McDowall with the info on the younger guys we'll need to play. I really don't see us signing anyone.
  10. What if McCoist takes a payoff and uses it to buy shares at a future offering?
  11. Very happy for him, this will give him an idea of the level he'll need to reach to get into the first team and to be an outstanding performer in the Scottish Premiership.
  12. There was a Rangers v Celtic game on Taggart a long time ago, did any of the players feature on that one?
  13. Of course, he was the manager when he was sold.
  14. Exactly my view. As the games get tougher and tighter, he'll lose his head too. Enjoyed watching him at times, not being too hard on him but if we are to receive a good offer for him then I'd sell and would hope it would allow us to strengthen the first team further.
  15. I wonder if the pile I left in the London in Hamburg are still there
  16. 11 years since the original Helicopter Sunday too!
  17. Up until the last 3/4 years we had 4 separate supporters buses running from our wee town. My brother was there, Goram got the nugget by the scruff of the neck apparently. Fuck all worth worrying about.
  18. Even though they've been awful this year and in the 1st leg I still fancied them today. If tied, away goals will determine the outcome so they are in a good position now.
  19. That's the first Old Firm game I remember. Or at least the significance of it.
  20. I was in the house. Just put my daughter to bed before kick off then had a few beers with my brother. When that penalty went in we were jumping about the living room silently screaming, if you know what I mean. Straight into work on my day off to book a few days off for Manchester, drove to the bus garage and priced a bus then phoned round every bear I knew and filled that bus within 30 mins. Fantastic memories.
  21. Any time I knew of them going it was with the family or occassionally mates or employees. I don't doubt they entertained business clients there occassionally. They didn't just go every now and again, they were regular attenders.
  22. I can confirm that, as far back as 11 years ago.
  23. Ive saw him play a couple of times outwith the Rangers first team and each time his ability was second to none but he doesn't deserve to return to Rangers ever again, no matter how good he turns out to be. What sort of message does it send to any young players that you can have a stinking attitude and not take direction from management but still be employed by the club?
  24. Missed that but in my defence I was working from BlackManRedemption's list. They are called Inter Milan anyway. Just being a pest.
