  1. Myself and my brother made a pact to drink a carry out on the night of every game of the Champions League/UEFA Cup run, no excuses tolerated. On the night of the semi final 2nd leg my daughter would've been just a year old and the missus in bed too so when Novo scored his penalty me and my brother were jumping about the living room but sort of shouty/whispering (you know what I mean) about what had just happened. Luckily I had the next day off work but went straight in and booked the day of the final and the following day off and organised a 35 strong bus of mates to head to Manchester. We all still talk about that time, horrible it was so long ago in more than the time sense. One of the best days as a Rangers fan and my life and Manchester managed to better it, barring the actual game !
  2. My uncle was taken to hospitality at Ibrox on a few occasions by Sandy Easdale. He was invited up a lot more. Sandy is certainly a Rangers fan but may well have a soft spot for Morton, I've no idea.
  3. Stunning imagery on a fitba forum. Well done sir.
  4. Win the league and 2 of the 3 below. Win 14 of our 17 home games. Have won 12 of 16 so far. Get to the quarter final of the Scottish Cup. We made the 5th round this year. Get to the final of the League or Challenge Cup. We made the quarters of both this year but aided by having experienced defenders in the side before they left at the end of August, even though they looked like they weren't too interested. I dont think that's too much to ask.
  5. Me too but on second look I think it's Mark Wotte.
  6. I'm not claiming it as a scoop sir, not my bag, just giving the information I have. It's from someone I'm very close to and I believe him. They have absolutely no agenda and neither do I. Been asking him questions throughout the day and he's been doing some digging, well as much as he can. He's given me the contact from Rangers who phoned to disclose information on Whyte and Green. Are you certain Sevco 5088 has had no money going through it's accounts? I've no idea but they may well be able to rack up a bill with EE with a business account without any cashflow.
  7. Sevco 5088 are still paying Craig Whyte's mobile phone bill with T-Mobile (probably now EE). Someone from Rangers (not high profile) contacted EE and asked for all communication from Craig Whyte's number to Charles Green to be disclosed. Sevco 5088 bought I-Pads and mobile phones from them at a cost of £6,500 and still haven't settled their bill. That is what I've heard and I've no reason to doubt it, from someone who works in the business side of EE currently.
  8. They wont allow any passengers in that department.
  9. Ive said already they are Rangers fans having had hospitality boxes for 10-15 years, my uncle ran the garage fixing their taxis for a number of years and was invited up a few times. Whether their purchase of shares is a dream of theirs to own the club or a way of making money, only they can say, I dont believe they'll do anything to hurt the club. The stories I hear from bus drivers and taxi drivers about how tight they are with certain things I'd hope they could take a look at our finances and plug some gaps.
  10. It reads like "I can't say I want to leave as I'm still under contract and dont have a better offer"
  11. Not in the stadium but still technically at Ibrox. In the Louden on Saturday there was a couple of Americans in who were being treated to the game by a family member it seemed and one of them said to their Scottish friend/family, 'hey that song kinda sounds like the Fields of Athenry'. He was put in his place by the young relative/friend.
  12. Clyde 1 seem pretty certain Mather is being announced today.
  13. There are a lot of players in the team who shirk a challenge. We need much more fight and pride in the team. Played some decent stuff in small spells yesterday then we lost a goal and no-one wanted the ball.
  14. I was in Hamburg in November and the fanzones outside their stadium are great, there aren't any pubs or anything nearby so it makes sense. Designated area, stalls of food and another of beer. If it could all be under some marquee then great.
  15. One of our shareholders owns the taxi company with exclusivity rights at Glasgow Airport and also owns one of Scotland's largest bus companies... Edit to add: Getting a taxi near Ibrox is nightmare, even a while after games. I was in the WRC a couple of hours after a game and waited ages on a taxi, was only going to Cardonald station.
  16. It was McGill's buses who paid for Colin McMenamin's wages at Morton until the end of the season, was a bit of a gimmick to be honest. Sandy, the one seen outside Ibrox, has had exec seats and boxes at Ibrox for some time and is a big Rangers fan. Not entirely sure about James although I'd assume he's the same.
  17. The Dundee United part is just nonsensical. Walter Smith and Richard Gough seemed to like Rangers a wee bit having come from there.
  18. He has a holiday home in Dunoon, or he certainly did have.
  19. Glad to hear he is ok. Thought a protest was going on with both sets of fans silent.
  20. This 'insult' has always intrigued me. Ive often heard people from Scotland referred to as a 'Scot'. Basically just a shortened version of Scottish I presume. No unless it has bastard tacked on the end then it isn't an offensive term at all. Paki is a shortened version of Pakistani, I presume, but the connotations seem to be so different. Why? However, in my opinion, Green shouldn't even have mentioned it. It's not the time and not while representing Rangers.
  21. The argument is whether the 3rd division title should be our 55th league title or do we have 54 league titles plus one 3rd division title. Absolutely nothing to do with anyone attempting to say it's our 1st title.
  22. It is Rangers' 55th league title but it shall not count towards the stars on the jersey as it's not a major championship. I know, I've got it spot on.
