I was sat in the Copland that night right behind the goal. Couldn't believe the amount of chances we had and the great saves the keeper made. One save in particular from Durrant still sticks with me. We all thought it was in but the keeper dived right across his goal and got a fingernail on the ball We didn't know at the time that a win wouldn't have taken us through. I don't think I've ever been at a match where the tension was so high.
I think it was Souness's first full season. We dropped points at easter road in the first game (can't remember ifit was a draw or loss) if it wasn't for that result we would have been top of the league from start to finish. I can't remember what our actual form was like but it must have been pretty good to stay at the top for the majority of a season.
I am fucking scunnered after that performance and my faith in Ally has been shaken to the core. Maybe he isn't cut out for management but that doesn't excuse disrespecting him. That man is part of the reason we still have a club to whine and moan about.
I will always support the country of my birth. Having said that my interest in the national team is at an all time low. I will watch the game but I will not be on the edge of my seat willing us to score like I used to be. Sad and slightly confusing times.
Think of the sales EA sports will lose. The Bears will not buy it because we are not in it and the tims will not buy it because it's usually their only chance to beat us
Looking at the rules it would appear that we have to charge the Minimum Recommended Prices of Ground Admission SPL price as the rules state that it is the MRPGA of the club from the higher league that is used. The MRPGA for SFL Div 1 is £12 so I would imagine the SPL prices will be higher.
God I remember them. Panini thought so little of Scottish football they had us on these double stickers whereas the English teams had one player on each sticker.
