Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is an 'Institutional Investor'?

The way I see it is we don't want to accept their hospitality, for want of a more suitable word, rather than about the money. Utd could potentially fill their dump if they use this to motivate their fans (and others) to attend. I have seen a lot of posts about how it would affect them financially but I couldn't give a hoot about that.They were very vocal in their opposition to us and as such it is a thanks but no thanks from me. If they come to Ibrox we welcome them the same as we did ICT.

That will depend on the reaction to this by utd, the SFA and anyone else who cares to stick their oar in. If we don't get past utd we will not face another spl club until next year, possibly. If we progress it will depend who we get. CG has already spoken about Motherwell. Hopefully this game will give utd and others a chance to rethink their stance towards us. I wouldn't be holding my breath though.

I wish people would give it a rest with this talk about the money. It's not about the money. It is a point of principles. Utd could well fill their ground on the back of our boycott. Whether that be with their own 'fans' or combined with other clubs 'fans'. Money may come in to the bigger picture if Utd have the vision to foresee what could happen on our return to the top tier but this one off game is about sending a message that we will not lie down and pander to bigots, bullies or just downright vindictive cunts.

Imagine the outcry if we took them to court again: 'but UEFA don't like clubs taking their governing bodies to court' whilst we are safe in the knowledge that we will not have any dealings with UEFA for at least 2.5 years

Charles Green, chief executive commented: “I am sure that all Rangers fans will welcome that a judgment has been reached on this case at last. “That said, the judgment will not affect the operations of the Club nor the proposed flotation of the business as a public company. “This case is historic and was a matter for The Rangers Football Club plc ('oldco') which is in liquidation. “The Rangers Football Club Ltd is a corporate entity formed following the acquisition in June this year, by a consortium led by me, of the business and assets of Rangers, including the Club and its honours. “As HMRC stated in June when they decided to vote against the proposed oldco CVA, no tax liabilities relating to 'oldco' would transfer across to the new company. HMRC have recently reaffirmed this position to the Club's tax advisers, Deloitte. “The Rangers Football Club Ltd is a company free of external debt. “The judgment serves to further undermine the validity of the SPL Commission into the use of EBTs. “As we have said all along the SPL decision to press ahead with a commission was ill-timed and fundamentally misconceived.”

Slightly OT but I believe this is the beginning of Mad Vlad's end game. He has been keeping an unusually low profile throughout this so far. It would be very convenient for him if Hearts were wound up by someone else (HMRC). He can then point his finger and spout some crap about doing everything he could but being forced by others. As the major creditor he could very easily get the main assets. If Tynecastle were then to be redeveloped into luxury apartments it would be nice earner for him with a lot less flak than if he were to pull the pin himself. Cynical Loyal

You need to be registered on the Rangers website for buying tickets. It only takes 5 minutes to register and you will need your Rangers number that you got with your season ticket. You can then control your secondary ticketing options from there. Not sure how they allocate the secondary tickets but they have been paid for the seat already and if they sell it again they are getting full match day price as opposed to a reduced season ticket price. They then give you 75% (approx) of the value of your season ticket value it is in their best interest to shift the secondary tickets.

I think you will find the club has been the most liable throughout this whole saga. It would appear the previous owner/ company has no liability by the inaction of the authority's.

Clever accounting mate. They actually make a profit but there are so many ways of reducing or eliminating that profit by redistributing money within their international organisation.
