Lammers is possible one of the worst strikers of the ball I've ever seen play for us.

It’s pretty much the only way they can get on the ball. If they rely on our midfield to get it to them they’ll never get a touch.

Not all issues are visible to us though. Just cause someone looks okay on the outside doesn’t mean they haven’t got some shit affecting them. I’m not going to speculate what it could be as that’s how rumours start - but if Beale says there’s been extenuating circumstances then we should just take it at face value and move on. Not everything needs micro-analysis.

Lawrence, Raskin and Lundstram all love a long shot. Hopefully they’ve got their shooting boots on.

Davies or Souttar is like picking between a kick in the balls from Albertz or a punch in the balls from Mike Tyson. Lundstram has arguably been our best midfielder this season. I think people are just ingrained to give him shit.(not saying he hasn’t been shit for most of his time here) I think we have all seen enough to confidently say that Cifu and Raskin do not compliment each other at all wether it’s a 2 or a 3. Raskin needs to improve his tempo and release the ball much quicker. Too often does he hang on to the ball or drive forward into dead space. The ball moves quicker than any player on the pitch… get it going. I think Lawrence will make a massive difference today.

I’m sure they’ll make enough money that they can comfortably cry themselves to sleep though.

He had only been in charge for 6 games. Santos have sacked THREE different managers in less than 3 months. Sounds like the club is in proper crisis mode. I think Alfie’s agent can forget about a nice pay day appearing on the horizon.

Not as sad as the bastards who sit and watch those unpacking videos… can understand the kids getting all excited by them but it seems plenty of adults do too. The 37k that the YouTuber has spent is an investment, one that that will likely prove to be very lucrative in the long run. He’s completely ineffective in the role that’s being asked of him. Which is entirely on Beale. He’s wasting him… our most creative player ended up spending most of the first half filling in for Tav at RB.. You can see he’s visibly frustrated on the pitch. As the game goes on he just gets progressively worse… loses any discipline and literally ends up all over the pitch trying too hard to make things happen which is just causing us even more problems. He’s one of the only players I actually have any sympathy for.

Problem is where do you go from here? Mcinnes? Martindale? Wheel Mcliesh out of cold storage? Absolute shite time and circumstances to try and replace a manager. Seasons have just started so no one wants to walk away from projects and those out of work will be keen to pick the right job. Anyone that could potentially come in will be right up against it.
